Doesn't take an expert to understand basic physics. Lock the diff. Put slow gear and off you go climbing without flipping your vehicle. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SkMHB6QHWlU.html
I believe this type of vehicle and this event is designed for driving like this. A heavier slower vehicle could probably get right up there are a snail's pace, but that's not the kind of driving these rock bouncer races permit.
BustedKnuckleVideo my 94 YJ made it up that hill with open differentials and a four and a half inch lift sitting on 31's. 2nd gear low. Expert. $4,000 total build.

Dont understand your sarcasm. The suspension is WAY fucking soft. They are bouncing like on trampoline, and that wheelspin xd funny. If suspension would be harder and they would go more to traction NOT FUCKING wheelspin to damn engine death then maybe someone could make it to the top. Its pointless that more power u put, The more sliding u get, I can understand that this is for fun and all, but when I see comments where people gives proper advises of what went bad, everyone just start yelling on Them to do it better. It doesnt look like someone went There for competition, but it looks like some fathers and sons bulild not ( in this kind of terrain) functional project which only look and sound nice.
More destruction derby than hill climb… Is "floor it" the ony tactics in this game? Seems like a more gentle and less bumpy approach would do the trick.
Wow! @ 44 seconds you get a good idea of how steep that hill is. Gravity pinned his bouncer against that tree. That's one crazy position to be stuck in.
0:30 Look at how that cage bends like butter. Just goes to show that just because you make this wild looking tube chassis doesn't mean it's engineered properly. Or safe in any way, shape or form. Fail.
BustedKnuckleVideo Yes i do actually, cause those cages are properly engineered. Not there just to look cool. Though that's not the point at all. If you use that much material on a cage and it still bends like that, the geometry is totally wrong. No way should a cage like that bend that easy, especially considering these things don't weigh that much.
7.62 worldwide productions If it wouldve been any worse of a roll over probably not. Quit defending this poverty hillbilly shit. Just because you have 800 miles of tubing and all these flashy bends doesn't mean shit. I'm going to laugh when one of these imbreds does die from their half ass botch job.
Would be interesting to see what a 400 hp rock crawler like these with a Honda sh-awd or Audi awd system with torque vectoring that can transfer power and limit the slip of the wheels would do???
+Aaron Bradley First, none of those systems can handle the power or shock loads in any application they've created so far, so the hardware doesn't exist. More importantly, it would be *worse* than what they are now. These are _fully locked_ vehicles, with permanently locked differentials in both axles, and full 4WD. ALL power is going to _all_ wheels _at all times_. What good is "vectoring torque" going to do? There is nothing being wasted on the wheels in the air, and if the two tires that are touching the ground don't have enough traction to move the vehicle forwards, then what good does putting more power through them do, pray tell? Torque vectoring systems are only good in road vehicles, which can't use locked differentials. With an open differential, if one wheel goes up in the air, it just spins and no power goes to the one on the ground. You need a system to stop that wheel from spinning and to send the power to the wheel on the ground. Not a problem with locked diffs, because when the driveshaft spins, they both spin, no matter what. Also, the "SH" in "SH-AWD" stands for "Super Handling". The whole system is tuned towards improving handling on a highway, while cornering or to improve high-speed stability. They improve traction in open-differential vehicles, but they are _reactive_ while lockers are _proactive_. Torque vectoring systems very useful on vehicles that have to drive on the highway, but are no-where near as good as locking differentials offroad. Trust me. They are for passenger vehicles that need to traverse slightly rough ground. If you have a truck that needs to go on highway AND handle serious terrain, you get a locking diff that can run either open or closed. For these buggies, you'd get a "spool" (which technically _replaces_ the differential, and permanently locks the axle into a solid unit), because it's stronger. In either case, you will not get better traction than a fully locked 4X4 (except out of a fully locked 6X6, and so on).
Yea cause 500hp full throttle is going to make it up those rocks. My dad has a concours 14 Kawasaki, when he got it, it was the fastest bike 0-60 ever. Not because it made the most power, but because it had traction control, it could put all the power to the ground. That is what would make a difference here. Is being able to limit slip and maximize traction. There is a video on RU-vid of a Volkswagen Touareg pulling a Chevy 2500 because of its traction control. Point is power means nothing if you can't link it to the ground Asshole
They made the right call havin that last fella shut her down we all understand what position he was in, but you gotta know when to fold em. And a fireball seems pretty good reason to call it. Greeeeat footage
the caution tape is kinda just a warning for the audience, it doesnt mean you still wont get ran over by a rock bouncer that is steadily rolling back down the hill XD
maybe you can tie a black ( to still look cool ) rope that will be pulled only when the cars start going downwards just for safety and to save the awesome vehicles.I wish I was in here swimming in a fun bowl.
hadir saudara aku. kiriman paket telah tiba.salam dari dunia elektronik.biar pun lain hobi tetapi video sahabat sangat menghibur, salam sehat selalu lanjut.
