Massive Jet Turbine powered RC F-15 crashes on flame out landing at florida jets 2022. this airplane is around $15K to build so its painfull to see them go in like this. in better news this one looks fixable but I know it hurts the pilot to see this happen.

The ground shot up beneath the jet slamming into the bottom of it breaking a landing gear then slid from the grass onto the runway. The pilot never saw it coming because he was literally lit but wasn't actually lit enough. My prayers go to the family of the right side landing gear I'm sure their devastated and will never retract the same ever again.

Looked like an edf jet? He didn't line up with runway properly nor did he try into the wind. Probably just got a bit nervous and anxious coming instead of being relaxed and patient.

Trying to glide in… should come in dirty , flaps down, under power; landing decreasing the throttle instead of forcing down with the elevator….

Decended a little too fast and cross winds possibly caused a mild stall, landing on soft grass caught the front landing gear caused to to fail and jet to spin!

He should have set up way before that. You can't come down at that steep of an angle. It creates way too much momentum downward. No fare move will save that angle of decent.

He didn't account for the wind and speed was too low, a gust knocked down his speed whilst turning into the gust causing it to stall.

He stalled it I have I f15 with a jetcat 16 and the are very tempremental just like a viper jet it’s very important to keep speed with jets you have brakes for on the runway

Must have hit a down draft.. my F15 just hangs in a High alpha when I pull elevator going slow . Also I think the attention to the rudders were overlooked heheh I fly EDF and have a few Cubs which are a true Stick and rudder plane you cannot Climb or do any maneuvers on a cub without rudders I guess that is just me but... My bets are on lack of rudder use

Not enough speed and came in at the wrong angle. Not a terrible landing for where he came in from though at least it was just the wheels and some minor things that broken. Might’ve made it too if they pitched right earlier.

Looks like possible cross-wind dipped a wing -- -- gotta keep wings level on jets, or things go bad quickly.

He was coming in too high, tried to dip the nose and cut down power, he stalled his aircraft trying to land, the wing dipping is one of the stalling symptoms

Just from real world incidents and what I know, it was probably just a combo of near-stall speeds, the wrong angle being by forced on by the wind, and then that weird right wing dip that effed it all up at the end. He did that adjustment and lost all of his lift.

Pilot proceeded to commit to landing with an unstable approach on an apparently significant crosswind with hella flaps, losing energy in the process and ultimately dropped out of the sky like a rock.
