I always wanted a Cadillac Escalade

We had a 2018 Cadillac CT6. It had night vision, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. It alerts you to animals/people around you. It worked flawlessly. I drove home one night (over 50 miles) through the country; and it was so foggy I couldn't see past the hood. With the night vision I could clearly see the road and everything around me. I drove home looking at the screen the entire time (and that screen was much smaller than what is on this Escalade). Also, driving at night, I was never worried about animals running into the road because night vision would alert me anytime there were animals on the side of the road (we live in a more rural area). I wish every vehicle had this option.

Nice nighttime review. Always loved Cadillacs lighting. I have a 2019 Escalade and look forward to trading it in for the V. Glad they kept the vertical tail lights. Wished they also kept the vertical headlights but by the looks of it they are going back to vertical headlights by looking at the new Lyriq which has the best looking headlights right now imo.

The running board lighting is sweet.

It's a beast of a vehicle and a beast of a profit maker for GM. They sold over 40K of these in 2021. Let that sink in. They own this segment by far. That said, the competition is stiff and GM should continue to refine it. Next month the specs for the Escalade V will be revealed. Can't wait.

Nice review, but you failed to the mention nor notice the center console had the refrigerator/freezer option. Maybe it was too dark to see.

Seen one the other day picking up several bags of groceries from a Walmart.

Night Vision is great for someone who may be traveling down a very dark road with no street lights and deer or other animals jumping out into the road. Kind of a reinforced visual aid.

Wow I'm surprised the climate control bottom buttons don't have a soft illumination. In this video it looks like you can barely see them. Did you find yourself miss pressing the controls at all at night?

This new Escalade is hard to beat these days. To be Honest if you like to drive with all the tech and luxury in the world, Escalade beats everything out right now. Otherwise if you prefer to be driven the Range Rover serenity sv is best.

Seriously; with the cost of fuel & insurance your money could be better spent like paying off mortgage, debt, retirement savings or help your kids through University. Sharp looking vehicle though.

Shit only people with money can afford this. Now days all vehicles is expensive compared to 10 years ago. Average Joe's like myself can't afford. Gotta stick with 2010 or bellow vehicles.

Trash . I had electrical issues with this model. This happened at least 4 times . The dealer never found the problem. Cadillac has serious electrical issues but they keep it on the down low. All the mechanics that worked for Cadillac were telling me this.

thoroughly unimpressed for the price point.
