And one thing I can surely tell you is, nobody gets such house tours if he wouldn't have the money to buy it or is at least seen as a potential customer by the seller. She is a high end North American realtor, no matter how much they make they are on deal away from nothing, their lives exist on credit! I met many when I lived in Vancouver, they usually have expensive coke habits on top of the huge fees they have to pay the companies they work for. For land overlooking a National Park, where development is prohibited and the view is indefinitely protected, $11M is actually a nice listing price, especially considering it will be negotiated a bit lower. I'd prefer it as a modern-contemporary estate, though. The materials used here are opulent, but the completed overall design is T-A-C-K-Y. That padded striped wall is going to give me night terrors. That being said, it's time for me to get back to vacuuming my one-bedroom apartment.

@Roy Sunshine Hell yes! If I was in Mike's financial position, absolutely. I already live in a desert, but I've never seen such a private lot before. The fact it's view is a national park is reassuring it'll stay that way. Location IS everything. Not to mention how amazing it'd be to feel like I'm on an elaborate vacation every day w/o the international flight and crowds/theft. $11 mil is a deal for that much house and privacy in SoCal, but I can see how it'd look like a trap to someone with different priorities.

I didnt see much of a view, just a dirt valley. And the culdesac looked like your average culdesac with tacky High wrought iron fence. I just wasnt feeling it👎 AND IM FROM SANTA ANA, go figure?? Honestly 11M for a place like that seems incredibly cheap... I feel like just the land itself and the buildings would cost most of the price of that and that's not factoring in everything inside. Seems like you would be stupid not to buy this... i can't imagine the price of a property like this would drop. Hell if i ONLY had 11M i'd buy it, it costs a damn million to buy a house here that is only like probably like 1/6th the size of that. For just another $20 million & you could get a 5 BR Penthouse condo in Manhattan, of course no land, limited parking, a Condo Board that defines what you can & can't do. This is a bargain compared to NYC properties & you get privacy & a wonderful climate to boot.

It's a bit hard to compare land on Manhattan vs. the desert far away from the big city. It's not a bargain, they will have trouble selling this. Ppl with money would rather live closer to inhabited areas.

Chhuti Maiti You are right. I’d offer $9 Million and ask them to take the chandeliers with them. I’d roll that $2 Million in savings into car lifts for the garage as they mentioned. I wonder how much time exists in the owner’s lives to actually enjoy home. They probably work 18 hours per day running their company, or tending to their careers. Beautiful place.
