It's been a few weeks since I did a Walmart grocery haul since I've been sick! So even thought this is more than I'd typically spend in a week on our budget of $400/month, it basically covers last week and this week as we restock and move forward!

It's so sad to me that you feel the need to justify what you feed your kids... I'm so sick of the food police... Never justify your food choices to people... I think it’s fabulous that you don’t force your kids to eat whatever you make. I never did either. Growing up we didn’t get a choice and we ate whatever was put in front of us even if it took all night because we hated it. That was the only negative thing from childhood. Nothing wrong with giving a kid beefaroni when they don’t like what everyone else is having. You and Will are amazing parents. ( btw... thanks Will for doing the numbers and adding some laughter. Loved the screamer and the hand clap ! )

I was raised the same way and it gave me very unhealthy food relationship for MANY MANY years. I refuse to force them to eat anything - I encourage trying new things, trying a "polite bite", etc - but I will not fight over food. I always have backup options and try to include produce and healthy proteins where I can. We talk about healthy food choices ALL THE TIME and just try to educate them. It's a work in progress :)

You are so straightforward, just like me! I thought I was the only one like that. Your videos are nice and simple, and that's not trying to copy your user name, but that's one of the main reasons that I watch your videos. You think similar to how I do too. Were you raised strict, old-school, southern country? We were taught right from wrong, back then, huh? I love your grocery hauls too. I get ideas for what I'd like to try, from watching your choices. And also, I admire, and compliment you, that you are confident enough, to be secure about yourself, that you don't need to put alot of make-up on, and you don't wear clothes that are designed to draw attention, and show off, like alot of modern day women do. Your focus always seems to be only on what's important. I notice how humble, and real you are, and it's refreshing, because there's not very many of us left.

Glad you’re feeling better! You should try Pedialyte to stay more hydrated. It’s not just meant for kids, it helps replenish electrolytes in adults also. :)

Farmers markets for cucumbers in seasons you can get them just pick the smallest thinnest ones. Thats how you know you won't get big seeds.

A good recipe for them brussel sprouts is cook bacon in electric skillet, put it in a bowl to the side, leave the bacon grease in the electric skillet, then put in the brussel sprouts till they're completely done for 7 minutes covered, don't uncover them through the whole 7 minutes, then add the bacon, stir, then serve.

If you really wanna do something about this dehydration thing. I feel for you, this is what you absolutely 100 percent should do it works every time for me because I had that same problem. Buy some Himalayan pink salt make sure it’s exactly Himalayan pink salt. Put a little bit, maybe 2 table spoons or more into a mason jar(any GLASS cup no plastic or it’ll absorb the chemicals they use to make plastic) fill it with spring or distilled water. Let it SIT OVERNIGHT. Stir it into the water the next day it’ll most likely be dissolved but that mixes it more. Add solution to your drinking water or whatever you’re drinking, add maybe a tablespoon or more. Himalayan salt is literally natures electrolyte mix. It taste just like Gatorade if you add it to fruit water. But Himalayan salt has 84 of the 102 minerals in our bodies. It acts as an absorbent as well to actually absorb the water into your body so you won’t need to drink that much as most people drink a gallon & still feel thirsty it’s because the body isn’t really absorbing the water. Try it. Google it for yourself hey call it Sole water. But please for your health try it. It works AMAZINGGG.

I love how you say trip to Michigan haha. Are those great value pizza rolls as good as the original. I am all about store brand myself. I tried our HEB store brand and they were gross. So just wondering about Walmart brand, sometimes if we don't feel like cooking that's dinner lol. Love the chicken pattie parm idea, I tried that once after Watching one of your videos. My family loved them😊great video as always!❤

The GV pizza rolls aren't QUITE as good as the name brand, but they're pretty decent. I'll eat them without complaint as long as they're not microwaved. I do the air fryer for about 3-4 minutes and they're perfectly crispy and gooey!

I bought some pizzas not too long ago GV and hubby actually likes them better then Digiorno pizza. What air fryer do you have? We bought one and it fried out on us. So I have no fryer right now👎also what instant pot do you have? I really want one of those😊

I love that the kids just pop 'em in the toaster and eat them as is - they don't even want them with syrup or anything. So I pair with a yogurt or banana and it's a somewhat healthy-ish breakfast! haha

Two things: 1) I was eating the cheddar version of those Ritz while watching this lol. 2) I use that foundation too. I consider myself "translucent" as well, if buff doesn't work, I would try porcelain, that's the color I use.

for electrolytes also try some pink himalayan sea salt or mordello salt.. basically regular salt not plain table salt.. it helps with magnesium and potassium.. or just take those supplements.. def makes a difference in my energy etc.. when low on electrolytes

Mmmmm brussel sprouts roasted in the air fryer are soooo good! Better than the oven in my opinion. I use Ready Set Gorgeous foundation or It Cosmetics and mine stays pretty good in our high 90's temps and humidity. Even when visiting the parks. 🐀🏠🐬🐳 Our heat index here in southern "Michigan " 😉😉 has been around 109 give and take. You may want to go all natural with some sunscreen.

@@SimpleWifeSimpleLife I menchend it cuz I know they change u do much on the road.. They know u need so they get it.. Uno .. I have a first add kit in my kitchen.. Bathroom.. I carry one with me. My kids are grown and I sent them all one and I restock it every yr.. Lol 😁🙂😂 U just never know... My kids where always getting hurt.. Have 4 and the boys played football and road skate boards and I had one tomboy. Lol she had me in the ER alot.. 💖💙💖💙
