some shops are more expensive and they are a semi small shop and water slimes are very had to perfect since they have to use other ingredients and all the slime have to survive during shipping
@@bottledsodapop12 even the very small slime shops on Etsy I’ve seen include activator with your purchase. Many people purchasing may be beginners who don’t have borax at home to fix slime that melts during the shipping process. To me, including borax should be a given, especially if you’re selling even basic textures for $16 each 🤷🏻♀️

I have ordered from peachybbies 4 times now and I have 7 slimes from them and I can honestly say that Momo Slime shop is so much better. Maybe My standards were too high for peachybbies but some of their scents weren’t the greatest. I got Pumpkin Spice Latte and I don’t know what it smells like but it doesn’t smell like pumpkin or coffee. The other thing I noticed is that they don’t fill their jars as much as other places. I got honeycomb cube and there was barely any slime in there. I also got vanilla sugar and funfetti frosting which were also only about half full. I have ordered at least 20 Slimes from Momo and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Their scents are amazing, not too strong and not too subtle. When I go to get a slime out to play with while I work, i always choose Momo over my peachybbies. Somehow none of my Momo slimes have melted yet even though some of them are 4 - 5 months old.
I also bought the strawberry milk and it came melted too. But I had warning ahead of time it may do that, as Putty Egg had sent out an Instagram post with apologies. I believe they said an ingredient they used in the recipe caused that. Customer service was great about it so if anything, I learned Putty Egg is very nice to work with on issues!
If anyone is interested, I’ve bought water slimes shipped from China before and they come in very cheap big batches! They’re called 抱抱奶 or 假水 in Chinese, and it’s made using a different kind of powder. I have a big bottle at home and it smells like sweet milk 🥛😊
Honestly, I’ve tried Putty Egg’s water slimes, and they are unbeatable. I personally don’t like water slimes, but out of many I’ve tried, there’s are the best. Your review on them is very accurate, pretty much the same as mine. Thank you for this video!

(a pretty interesting texture: feels like 'water but in slime form' - carmen 💜) scent: aloe & strawberry candy scented price: $16! size: 6oz! comes with: leaves to add-in, they kinda float in the 'water' and they look pretty cool, and a smol froggy charm! 🐸🐸🐸 extra timestamps for frog pond: 1:22: explaination of what a water slime is! 1:55: honestly only good for table play since it's really slippery, but is fun to play and slosh around with. some of the slime may get stuck to the surface you're playing with it on, or to your hands if it breaks off from the rest of the slime. something to keep in mind! 3:21: start of asmr (not too many satisfying sounds with this one haha) CARMEN'S FINAL THOUGHTS: she has tried 3 of these water slimes from other brands, and this one in particular seems to be the messiest. carmen likes to squish and squeeze her slimes, and with this one you can't do that too well since the slime breaks apart and gets a little messy and sticky. it's still a interesting texture though, and the scent is really great! 3:30: turtlemisu cronut! 🍩☕🐢(carmen's fav slime!) texture: diy clay! with a super fluffy base that they call a creme chantilly scent: tiramisu milk tea pastry scent! price: $23 size: 9oz comes with: clay cronut (croissant donut), smol clay turtle, brown glossy slime, chocolate slime syrup and some clay crumbs! extra timestamps for turtlemisu cronut: 3:58: putting it all together! adding the extra slimes to the clay cronut, the clay crumbs and the lil clay turtle! 4:23: mixing into the base! 4:46: the clay pieces were still super soft and easy to mix in, which carmen was happily surprised by! yayay 5:25: start of asmrr!! CARMEN'S FINAL THOUGHTS: once the clay is mixed in the slime turns into a very inflatable, poofy and pillowy clay slime that is one of carmen's fav textures! reccomended :) 6:34: stawberry milkk! 🍓🥛 texture: a water slime 2.0 thats a bit different from frog pond's texture. it was also melted for carmen but activated easily! something to note tho; putty egg doesnt send borax, so make sure you have some on hand! scent: strawberry milk! price: $19 size: 8oz comes with: no extras, but is in a cute milk container extra timestamps for strawberry milk: 7:03: activating the slime! 7:14: activated surprisingly well, after some mixing it became unsticky no asmr time for this one, but it doesnt make a ton of asmr so im pretty sure thats why! CARMEN'S FINAL THOUGHTS: sooo this was her least fav out of the package. the scent wasnt her favourite, and she was surprised it melted since water slimes arent really meant to melt. however it's still pretty unique and fun to play on a table with. though if the texture does interest you, she would reccomend getting the texture that frog pond has (aka the first water slime version, not the 2.0 one) 8:38: yorimichi dog! 🐶 texture: clear crunch bomb; a clear slime with a ton of fimo slices that make it super cronchy! scent: light melona scent price: $16 size: 6oz comes with: a TON pochacco fimos that make it crunchy! extra timestamps for yorimichi dog: 9:14: the fimos have a pretty strong odor, so it kind of masks what the actual scent is 10:13 start of the very crunchy asmr! CARMEN'S FINAL THOUGHTS: verryyy crunchy! she reccomends taking some of the base out first to enjoy the crunchy texture with less slime in it first, and then add the rest in later if you want to, so you can experience both! the extra base does make more bubble pops btw. putty egg has a ton of these types of slimes, so if you're interested, see what they have in stock! 10:50: yolky white rabbit candy! 🐇🍳🍬 texture: a gummy-like thick 'n' glossy slime! scent: light milk candy scent! price: $16 size: 6oz comes with: a white rabbit candy charm! the slime is inspired by the actual candy, so carmen shows us a real one next to the charm at the beginning of the clip! extra timestamps for yolky white rabbit candy: 11:06: carmen explains what the texture feels like! 11:40: when you let the slime sit it does form a weird wet residue on top, which these type of gummy thickies do have sometimes! carmen doesnt mind it! 11:56: carmen wasnt a huge fan of the scent, she'd prefer it was sweeter! 12:09: start of asmrrr! Love Putty Egg, especially the slush fizz texture! I wasn’t personally impacted, but did see on Instagram that they owned up to the issue with Strawberry Milk, which is very respectable IMO!
i know this is an older comment but Ihad an issue with corn with slime. They were horrible and i will never purchase ahain. Good thing id I discovered Slimeowry and have tried way better shops as per her suggestions.
I love Putty Egg! Such an innovative and unique shop. I still haven’t tried a water slime though. I keep meaning to, but when I order from them I pick the fimo crunch bombs. Still waiting for their JiJi slime to come back. 🥰
I don’t expect yall to know but it would be nice to support this shop. A little while ago puttyegg’s house was broken into and a lot of his supplies were stolen, so I wouldn’t blame him for jacking up the prices but again no one is forcing you to buy from this shop. :) I highly recommend the crunch bombs tho!
@@thegoogs they had posted on their instagram that their house was broken into. the slime supplies weren’t stolen, its pretty obvious that other valuables were stolen as they stated like their macbook, etc. u get what i mean. just like any burglar that would come into ur house and steal a bunch of valuables.

i got Turtlemisu Cronut in my first order from them and LOVED the fluffy pillowy texture as well! so uniquely soft, i didn't get that texture from any other shop yet. currently waiting for my Halloween order from them!

during the Pink Pitaya slime review, Carmen used a lot of slime lingo, and if someone has never heard of slime before, or knows little about it, that section of the video would be very very hard for them to understand🤣😆 no hate whatsoever to Carmen, because I always love her reviews and descriptions of the slimes, and I love how she is never being rude to slime shops at all, and always giving her personal opinion! Have u ever reviewed slimey pallets? they have some really cool crunchy and coated clear textures, and their pallets are fun. recently they have also started selling mystery bundles of slimes from china and i would be curious of your opinion on whether what u receive is worth the price

@@allisonorallie Carmen makes hundreds, if not thousands more each video. I agree it’s nice she’s promoting small businesses, but that’s the point of her channel, and her channel is pretty much her job. Slime isn’t that hype anymore, and still reviewing slime (with that being more than 4 years), I think 300k+ is quite a lot. She also owns a famous slime shop, these videos promote her shop, one way or another.

They’re slimes are pretty expensive, and the water slimes are pretty expensive too.. My personal opinion but water slimes rly just aren’t that fun to play with and pretty cheap, you can get the same type of slime from the dollar store. Idk about everyone else but $19 for watery slime that you can’t even do much with? Not worth it in my opinion..
