@@gabeng7642 yeah, he’s a 24/7 stocked shop so it’s pretty hard to have all your slimes to be consistent if you have to add something like fake snow or instant snow
biochemist here: slime making is organic chemistry, and organic chemistry needs to be precise and it requires isolated raw materials. if slime makers upgraded their production to organic chemistry laboratory conditions and employed chemists or at the very least learned its chemistry, they'd be much more consistent and they'd most definitely have higher quality products. it's imperative to isolate the molecular category of lotion, foam soap, glycerin, hair gel etc and add those molecules separately and as a chemical compound instead of a an impure mixture. it'd be much more cost effective, too. I used to make em in our lab for when employees would bring their kids to work. ps. eye drops and baking soda is still borax, only in a different form. when you add them together they have a similar molecular reaction. so saying it's borax free is incorrect. edit: read my reply comment to this below.

I don’t think slime obsidians slimes are as good quality as others in my honest opinion. I’ve seen other great jelly slimes that are thick, juicy while also being stretchy. I think the problem with his slimes are the stretch factor. But they are also a little stretchy. I prefer his old texture for his jelly slimes but his new one isn’t that bad! I bought 5 alimes from him one time and literally the only one that was playable was a cloud slime. The rest weren't even saveable, but he has loopholes in his return policy that basically blamed me for not being able to save them with the borax he includes. Absolute scam. (Byw peach sugar was one of the ones I bought, total trash)
It’s not his fault. This stuff happens in shipping. I ordered many times and was so happy with my orders even tho I live in a different continent from where the slime shop is
@@shaynagoh6152 well then his team needs better quality control or something. I'd understand if maybe one or two slimes were sticky upon arriving--of course that makes sense. But when 4 out of the 5 are messed up, while I've got other slimes from other shops that never had an issue, it feels to me more of a problem with his shop rather than just a shipping mistake. I'm sure once you're at a point where you're managing warehouses and a whole team, it's hard to keep track of every slime batch you make, but that still doesnf change the fact that people are paying upwards of 15 dollars per item. I was extremely disappointed and won't be buying from him again. That being said, as big as he is, I'm sure he won't miss me 🤣
I ordered like 6 from him a few weeks ago and they all stink so bad of glue and u can't smell the scents. At all. None of the slimes I've purchased from anyone else hsve any of these issues. They're also so so sticky. They make me nauseated they smell so crazy strong of all I can assume is glue. I really don't get that bc nothing I've ordered from others have that issue. So I do not use them. They stay in the box.
your english is actually really good! the only mistake in your writing was that ‘make’ and ‘enjoy’ should have an ‘s’ at the end. also dont worry if your english isnt always perfect if its not your first language people should be understanding of that and willing to help you learn/be paitent with you!
I absolutely adore the slimes from slime obsidian, all of the ones I've bought have given nothing but satisfaction to me although, i haven't seen any of the ones you've shown in shop
My favorite part of every one of your videos is when you INFLATE the slimes!!!! Agh, so satisfying! You are the queen of that!!! BUT CAN YOU PLEASEEEEE make a video, slow and detailed, how exactly to get the slimes to inflate as much as you do! I always buy the exact slimes show, and try to play with them the way you do- and yet they only inflate about 10% compared to yours. Haha, please please please 🤣🤣🥰🥰
I just got slime obsidian for the first time and I was a little disappointed- one of the jars came cracked although the slime was ok. In general, the slimes seem very high maintenance? They need to be activated every time I play with them, I don’t know why. They may just be more advanced slimes than I am used to. Kawaii slimes are my favorite for sure still- and I super appreciate that they come with activator bottles instead of having me mix up the borax.
Oh same here. It's not just you. And his shop is extremely disappointing. I have rhe same type of slimes with other shops and those last weeks without needing reactivation. His recipes just aren't that good and not worth it. I wasted 70 dollars on them. Never again
Day 3: Maybe you could do a switchup to all dark/alternative style slimes for a video or restock with asthetics as a theme (obviously with cute lil kibbys! ) I love you work!

Scent:fresh strawberries! These are just ideas, you don’t have to do them if you don’t want to, also my favorite slime is ultraviolet!
I recently bought Blood Curse from Slime Obsidian. (A red based clear slime) It arrived sticky, despite it being 20 degrees Fahrenheit (so cold you can see your breath) outside and the slime being left on my porch by UPS. I then reactivated it by following the instructions to make the activator. I put 1/4 of the suggested amount in the slime. It is now a thick putty texture, and feels slightly over-activated, but is still really sticky. I messaged their customer service and was ignored. I commented on an ad, and got an immediate response telling me I must have done something wrong. The slime is still decent, but my Wal-Mart Elmers Glue slime kit is better.
@@shaynagoh6152 and recently bought doesn’t mean it happened yesterday. did you ever consider that maybe this happened a few weeks before the comment, and the slime is still messed up?

I ordered from them Friday morning and received my order today which is the fastest shipping so far. I ordered 6 slimes, everything packaged really well. I haven’t opened any of the slimes yet bc I have A LOT more coming from 5 other slime shops. The one thing that struck me right away was there were NO FREEBIES, not a 3oz slime or even a piece of candy. Honestly, I’m grown and don’t do the candy thing but every other shop I’ve used has ALWAYS put at least 1 free 3oz slime when you order as much as I did so I found that to be disappointing for the kids that have to beg parents for this stuff and they don’t get anything extra. I became obsessed with slime just this year and I’m on my 4th order with Dope Slimes and Corn with Slime and they give free slime and candy which I think is so kind. Does anyone know why they don’t do this for orders over a certain amount? I hope the slime is as good as it looks as no freebies wouldn’t stop me from ordering again I just think it’s good business. That’s just my opinion though. 😊
Freebies are nice to receive but not necessary, and it’s up to the individual businesses if they want to give them out or not. They’ve been normalized in the slime industry but you don’t get them when ordering from a lot of other places, including larger chains like Amazon, and while some kids might be disappointed about not getting freebies it’s completely fair to get what you order.
Probably because he doesn't need to give people freebies? If you want your kids to have a little extra one to play with, either order one for them as well or separate out some from one of yours to let them play with. I don't get why it's such a big deal for slime shops to include or not include freebies with orders, its not required by any means. And you saying "it doesn't bother me" but make a comment complaining about it and comparing his lack of freebies to other shops inclusion of freebies completely counteract and makes it seem like it does, in fact, bother you quite a bit

For the lazy folks, an aye-aye is a type of lemur thats native to Madagascar. Its nocturnal and often taps on trees with their knuckles to check for food. I loveee your vids!! What do you normally do with the excess slime that can’t fit in the container once it’s inflated? Do you put it in a separate container or just play with it until it deflates?
I recommend using an extra container for the excess slime as it’ll take you a WHILE to completely deflate the slime. If you don’t have many containers around ziplock bags come in handy too!

I have a clay cream slime from Sliimeyhoney and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it but I have a really tough time inflating it again once it deflates a little. So idk. Am I doing it wrong? Is it the slime?
