Stock cooler is all you need for the 7500 cuz you cant overclock it anyway but I would honestly spend the 20 or so bucks extra for at least a 7600K or try to catch one of those amazing 6700K deals going around.
Thomas Damiani It's not too bad but I have no trust in stock coolers. I'd highly recommend just opting for a Hyper 212 evo or beQuiet Pure Rock/Pure Rock Slim.

wtf dude? 320$ 7700k 70$ for b250 380$ for 1070 50$ evga 500+ ~120$ for 2x8 ram same ssd 120$ anycase up to 100$ same hdd =1200 + a lot better CPU , case , 50$ for shit like led strips or fans (3 rgb riing TT cost 50$)
If you're a first time builder and may take a long time building the PC, I would highly recommend one unless you can set a reminder for every 20 minutes to remember to ground yourself on the case. I use one just to play it safe, because graphics cards and CPU's that I handle nowadays cost well over $300 a pop.
Beware of the cpu cooler you choose for this motherboard as it may not fit due to those raised capacitors on either side of the cpu socket. I learnt this the hard way :(

There's obviously something going on here, a non overclockable i5 7500 on an overkill strix z270 mobo. Also, who in their right mind would spend 1200 just to get a i5 7500, then end up buying an aftermarket cooler when they can't even overclock
What is the purpose of an aftermarket cooler for a processor that won't be overclocked? Is it just for aesthetics? Seems a bit steep paying $35 for something that just looks good but won't give any additional performance
This is my cpu setup 3yrs ago. Until now i dont have problem playing 3ple A games. If you find very low prices for this build. Good deal to build this in 2020.
After watching this I realized that my mom paid 1000€ for a PC that costs not even half of the price, and she couldve built this herself for 250€ more...
It makes sure you’re grounded so that you don’t accidentally discharge static electricity to any of the components. This can kill most components in your build, such as graphics cards, motherboards, etc. You don’t have to use one, but you have to remember to touch your case or power supply every 20 to 30 minutes or something like that. I would recommend buying one if you are building in carpet. But then again, you shouldn’t be building on carpet anyway.
