I’m so glad you made the point about how consumers do not owe anything to brands. there is a lot of pressure to prostrate oneself before an SA and beg for opportunities to buy items if you really want one badly and do not understand how they do not wish to make a sale. those who are lucky with an attentive SA who doesn’t gate-keep insist maybe others who get snubbed aren’t “nice” enough, or we wouldn’t care that we are snubbed? or we must have been mean to the staff? It feels low empathy. also a weird regressive classist idea to associate mega luxury with unmatched politeness. radically accepting that im not ok with the “pay to play” mentality, that I’m still a good person even if I don’t enjoy the SA loyalty journey, and deciding to gatekeep my money like they gatekeep their products, I find I’m a lot less stressed when I shop now. I also only bought tshirts and a pendant last month :) did well on low-buy July. if I keep this up I’ll be a wealthy “desirable” customer 😂

I can’t stand the cotton cases 😫 My SA was kind enough to give me the old quilted hard cases recently which are much more low maintenance. Love the new sunnies 😎
For luxury purchases, I want to get a brand new Chanel clutch or o case but the alleged quality decline makes me not want to get it. I see on reddit there are a number of posts showing Chanel leather goods are either peeling or scuffed easily.. I know this exact problem of mine is small and insignificant but it is sad still :(
I know Asir. Its frustrating for all of us who love Chanel’s heritage and wonderful design and quality past. At the moment I would personally not want a new leather piece from them but I am hopeful that the quality gets better again in the future… 💖

The chanel leather bags are in my opinion still suffering from quality issues. If some people wish to close both eyes and overlook the issues, then thats on them. The flexing is cringe to watch though. I agree.
It's quite common for people with dementia to accuse banks of stealing their money. I have been on the receiving end of such a story directly from someone who thought the bank had stolen her money, so I can attest to this happening. One guy tended to say «someone» had taken this or that. It's such a funny expression, I've adopted it, haha… So who knows what happened in this case, but the field is wide open.

I think the Dior scandal broke the camels back. No matter how much Stockholm syndrome you have. There is just no denying a mark up of 50 something euros to 2000+ The sad thing is that most people take issue with that and not the extortion of the workers. But of it keeps people away from being suckered that’s something at least

I think not always agreeing and discussing deferent perspectives, is what makes us learn and develop as humans, so unlike you, I don’t see it as a bad thing. I think it’s fine, that some like something, such as costume jewellery, it’s not cheap and as I said, I have seen many pieces losing “diamantés” again and again, or the metal colour changing, great it hasn’t happened to you, but to discard others experience, is maybe a bit harsh. We dont know, if she had permission to film, it doesn’t look like it was filmed with hidden mobile. Also you might not think it’s bad getting offered a product, to then a few minutes later be told, the SA used your interest to re-contact the customer he did reserve the item for, using your interest in the item, to push the first client to buy it, that’s not luxury for neither of the 2 clients. And last but not least, there is nothing hateful, in sometimes disagreeing, with b your point of view. I have no issue with your what you say, but don’t see what the problem, is by you sometimes hearing what others think. Actually I often think, you have interesting info and views on things! Just thought you might not think about, watching back your videos, having to skip 15 min of nothing, just to get to the start of the video, maybe you would understand or at least consider, not making the video unnecessary long, if it was info or your views on things, it would be cool, but 15 min plus, with nothing? I just thought you weren’t aware but you clearly are and clearly do it deliberate. Chanel has a pink “cat eye” version but the side cc’s are not translucent. The cat eye high bridge is on back order. 😢 I ended up getting a very similar pink cat eye Versace pair. 😁 I actually like my Versaces more plus they were less expensive. 🩷
