Kind rickshaw driver at Karachi railway station asked you to pay anything you feel like for the ride to PC Hotel in Urdu, but you misinterpreted his Urdu and assumed he wants Rs 300. Distance from Cantt railway station is around 1.5 KMs. You will definitely enjoy Karachi.
What could be more nobel than a non-muslim traveling all the way to a Muslim Country (a third world country) to share and experience fasting amongst muslims. Phil You have a great soul. Stay blessed.

@@philbland phill be careful while trying different foods, fruits & dishes in buffet all together bcs wrong combination of these will make your stomach upset & u will say oh my stomach is sensitive no its not if taken right. Also its not good to take bath or swim just after eating bcs bp goes down. Love u bro. Btw u resemble so much to affan waheed a famous Pakistani actor.
Very nice of PC staff to let you check in without a passport or a government issued ID. I have traveled through 61 countries and hotels in most countries require an original govt issued ID during check-in.

Hi Phil I’m a pak-Brit from Lancashire. It’s great that vloggers like yourself are showing the positive side of my parents native country. It’s a shame you don’t eat meat cos that’s where the real enjoyment is in Pakistani food. I would urge you to change your diet just till you stay in Pakistan..
You went to town with that sehri! Enjoy, mate. Also, all chutneys/achars are made of fruits or combination of veggies or pickled veggies and don't contain any meat. Have fun trying the different kinds!

This brown halwa is a speciality of Multan, it's made with whole wheat (not flour but seeds) ,cooked with organic clarified butter and sugar ,then some nuts for additional nutrition. Don't eat too much though, as the calorie count is quite high.

Do make it to Multan the city of Saints but the weather is going to be very hot as its known for its hot weather.Its also the known for its mangoes 🥭 the yummiest in the world I can claim. Rickshaws are crude so you have to remain careful or can get injured . Take care of the wound so that it heals and is not worsened . Take care man . Enjoy the trip .
Sehri end timing in Karachi is different. You said in your video you got 15 mins at 3:52 am. It can be 15 mins as Karachi ssehri timing ends at 4:52am so you got almost 1hr to enjoy all sort of food. 😊

Karachi is metropolitan City where people from all ethnicities live in harmony most of the times. But sometimes situations get worse due to political reasons. So I won't say its dangerous but be careful about mugging. As this could happen anywhere in the world safest citiess like Newyork so common people are really nice and helpful.

When you want to say Thank you in Pakistan you can use Shukrya, which you generally did. But there is another way of saying thank you too, which comes more from the heart. And that word is Meher-bani (which can be said to both males or females). And if you want to say it to a male (and even more from the heart), then say 'Meher-bani Bhai-jan'. Which means 'Thank you dear brother'. 2. The sweet thing which you bought from the train station, which came in the round box is called Sohan Halwa, and it is most probably from the city of Multan. Phil Bland, that seemed like it hurt at 4:33 - I hope there was no rust on the part which your knee hit. Please be careful and remember if it was metal or had rust on it. You may need to get a tetanus vaccine from a hospital. Rust injury can be very dangerous and a common problem here. Aga Khan Hospital or any other good private hospital should sort you out for your Tetanus vaccine if you think the part which hit your knee was rusty.

Me n my little daughter are enjoying ur vlogs alot. The sweet u bought on the train is a halwa called multani halwa u always get them on the trains. As for recommendations since u like halwa puri have it at dhamtal dont know what is their sehri scene. Rashid seafood (crabs n fish for sure). Biryani of the Seas has fish n prawn biryani
