The mouse clicks are cool but seem like a bit too much trouble. What I did on one a while back was pressed the trigger just to the point where it would engage the button. Marked it, then drilled a tiny hole and threaded in a teeny little set screw so the trigger would only travel as far as it took to initiate whatever action with no overtravel. Just a trigger stop really, but works almost the same as far as functionality. It also has the advantage that if you are playing a non shooter where you need the trigger to have full travel you can easily remove the screws. I would personaly never buy an expensive custom controller. Mainly because I enjoy projects and if I can do it myself for far cheaper and have a fun time doing it, I will. Especially since I have no desire for all those BS mod packs some have, and refuse to support any company that provides them as it is straight up cheating. Although, the only fps game I will play online is Halo. I have developed a true loathing for twitch shooters like COD, battle royal games because I find them ungodly boring and class shooter like overwatch. I am just old and grew up in the Halo tournament scene as well as quake and unreal before it. So I have an undying allegiance to competitive arena shooters with large skill gaps. Skill gaps that allow you to escape/turn the tables in gunfights using skill and good map control. Games that start everyone equal and require excellent map knowledge, teamwork and map control to be an effective unit as possessing power weapons will often make or break a teams performance. But the biggest thing is just the love of a good back and forth gunfight where you have to pull every trick in the book to earn the kill. You can't just melt someone as soon as you see them. You can't just rely on doing one trick before your opponent, like a drop shot, to get you out of trouble. There's no camping because if you want to win, you NEED to PICK UP better weapons. This makes the maps flow so much better and creates zones of contention full of opportunities to really use awesome teamwork and strategy to get it done. And it's pure, unadulterated, balls to the wall action. And if you die you go right back into the fray. I actually really like the gunplay in apex. You have a big health pool, movement speed is good and you can really fight it out with people. But then it's ruined for me because it's a BR game. So at least 50% of the gameplay is looking for boxes of guns and hoping you can have more firepower when you finally fight someone. And when you die you get to start it all over again. I played for a few hrs on release and I swear I must have spent maybe 8% of the time actually fighting. I know I'm being an elitist, but i don't care because these games have completely saturated the market practically boxing out people like me from even playing fps games anymore. If you like them I have no issue with it. I just wish devs would branch out. Splitgate gives me some hope though. Despite the slightly too fast TTK (imo of coursr) it is a pretty great arena shooter that could have a solid skill gap. Although I could do without the stupid loot boxes and all the meme crap like the doofy skins and emotes. Oh well. Massive old man rant over....

You can Connect several to the same ground pad. Ground is ground no problem there :)
