Yup! My first TRX4m I emptied the entire Injora catalog at it. lol With lights and all it well over a grand. Bad thing is I threw $500 at my second one and did the RC4WD portal axles on it and a bunch of brass and a big block and am about to do it to the SCX24 lol
explain to me how you put all injora parts on it and it went over a grand? why people need to lie so bad about how much something cost. i got a full injora build EVERY LAST PART aftermarket chassis everything new electronics and all and it cost 517 bucks thats including new diamond axles and immediately rebuilding them with new gears and brass parts so basically buying axes and only using the housing and beefing up the rest. there is no way you spent more than a grand. unless you are counting the fpv system you put on the rig. like i was telling the channel guy i know micro crawlers that are using reefs brass servo hardpark axles and wheels and hangars and furitek electronics and they still only around 800-900 bucks for a complete custom build this is 1/18th scale dude most aprts are 20-50 bucks until you get to new axles and brushless set ups which still wont get you into the 1k plus range
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kcXXuhKJ98A.html aint no way you spent 1 grand this is the perfect example of why you couldnt of hardpark makes the best of the best micro crawler parts and the most exspensive parts and like i said in previous reply no more than 900 bucks for the best of the best parts
@@chasentrophies i could be wrong i just done see it im glad you are a good sport about my critique i dont mean nothin by it just dont see how its possible but i could be wrong it does happen from time to time lol
i went out pretty good FULL custom from scratch i bought all brand new parts 517 bucks how you claim 1500 im ready to see this cause i dont think its possible
I was thinking the same thing lol there’s no way there’s 1500 in this thing. Especially when you see injora parts. Those are the budget friendly parts. I built a fully optioned scx24 for 600. I have 125 in my links alone on that build lol
@@DabbathaHut dont get me wrong injora stepping the game up big time but yea aint no where close to 1500 in this build im newish to rc crawling check out my few vids sometime on my channel The Pvpete Show ill be uploading my full custom build soon i just finished building it today only got some brass to swap out when it gets in and some better tire inserts when they come out with 70 mm 1.3 inserts, built it on a trx4m platform with a evo pro body and a lcg chassis no bumpers the thing looks so damn mean with the 70mm clingons and the injora diamond axles are pretty to boot
@@petejones6827 yeah man I love injora. The sell amazing parts now they they aren’t just making copies lol I just put the ir40 body on one of my trx4ms. I was into crawling but my rc drift cars win most of my time any more lol
@@DabbathaHut just got off with injora mcause the diamond axles shaft broke so fast on me, so the axle shafts are not separately sold i have to find other brands who sell plus 4mm extended shafts and use those if they even fit who knows as of now. i also asked them if there was a way to order just the 370 motor and they said no not sold separately. essentailly alot of their parts are not sold separate so for instance if i want to fix a broke tooth in the 370 trans or the motor burns up instead of paying for that part i have to buy the motor and trans as a combo for just under 50 bucks to get one gear or the motor, same for the axles if i dont find a replacement that fits i have 80 dollar axles thhat injora does not sell parts for so if i wanted those shafts and i cant find them elsewhere i have to buy two more axlesto fix it or throw them away.
motor, trans, links, axles, hubs, knuckles, esc, transmitter, shocks, drive shafts, gears for diffs, body, skid plate and wheels. thats everything you need to do a full custom build half of those are 20-50 bucks a pop for quality upgrades axles are prolly the most expensive and can get into the 150 range easily that means for the other 1/3 of the items you would need to spend 200 bucks a part which just aint how it is my friend there is no way your building a 1500 dollar mini crawler especially without using parts like the micro 99 brass edition servo. naw this a 400 dollar build my friend not counting the rtr price which shouldnt be counted as your gonna throw away the whole damn thing into a parts bin anyways.
Way over kill on this setup. There should always be a limit on what you add on. If whatever you add affects performance, you went too far. The idea behind upgrades is to make it a better performer, not make it a shelf queen. I saw all those upgrades and told myself no. I want my RC vehicles to work better, not harder.
@chasentrophies I do admit to getting carried away on this Traxxas Slash 2wd. I traded two out dated Dromida Truggies for a 3 day old Slash. I have upgraded it to brushless, big bore shocks, aluminum steering system ( including servo saver) and sway bars. In my opinion, I got the car for free, so any upgrades were warranted. I will be racing it this summer.
@chasentrophies I also sold all the parts I took off it yesterday, so I offset the cost of the upgrades. The Slash had been purchased 3 days prior brand new. I traded the truggies for it. I also did the chassis lowering kit. I had a box of brand new parts that came off it. Posted on Marketplace and sold them all in a day.
@scottfirman hell yea man! Well my channel is 90% racing! So if you have an interest stick around! New video out Monday! Check out my other stuff too, it's all a good time 😁
im building a custom trx4m from ground up no rtr purchased pure custom and i didnt have to spend anywhere near 1500 and most all my parts are the same ones this guy has except everything i have is aftermarket there is no way there is 1500 spent here ive got guys in local area that have 800 dollar rigs and they are using reefs servos and hardpark shit meus makes meh shit and overpriced most the time but not so overpriced you gonna spend 1500 bucks on a trx4m
