I dropped a plastic hat and i just about shattered. Idk that plastic is the answer... cracked into about 3 pieces. I could only imagine what a dropped hammer from the 5th floor would do.
Just so everyone know carbon fiber are sheets of carbon and glue and small wires thats pressed together its not steong at all in certain situations like if u hit glass window on the edge ot will break
Best of the best. Made of commercial strength epoxy and woven sheets of carbon fiber. Very durable. Will last a lifetime. The way the fibers run on the hat look good. Front to back in middle. Then vertical on each side. Legit.
Much stronger than plastic lighter than a metal hat. Id be worried about UV damage to the esters they use to make them. And i would rather have metal for 2nd or multiple strikes. Just talkin bout me.

Damn, and I thought Kleins hard hat was expensive. Klein has a carbon fiber one for about 1/2 the price. Even has a mounting point for a light. Don't see this one having any accessories.
Do u clean ur hard hat when u have bad luck on the rig I'm the core industry we don't touch our hard hats unless shits constantly fuckin up and any new booty immediately gets grease from the rods smeared on his pretty white cap haha😂

Overpriced, heavy garbage. You're mse helmet is better in the long run I promise. These things tend to wear and Crack at the edges showing their true build quality.
