I don't know Ryan personally, but as someone who has traveled and stayed in LV for a few WSOPs now, his current feelings are pretty normal for 90% of poker players at this point in the summer. Busting the WSOP main after a meh summer has been peak depression and life-evaluation time for many thousands of players over the years. There's no better energy in the poker world than Vegas at the start of the WSOP. The opposite is usually true near the end. Keep it moving Ryan. GL
I played the main, busted day 2, and degened all over town for six bullets in various tournaments the next day for zero cashes. Spent like 60 total hours in Vegas from arrival to departure. Just that time and that run of luck drained me pretty hard. Can't imagine doing that for almost 40 days.
Hey Ryan, been a fan for a really long time. Would hate to see you give up on poker, however, it might be a good idea to take a few months off. I've been going back through the old vlogs and you can noticeably tell a difference in the energy youre bringing to filming/your playstyle between now and then. I feel like you're just not in the best head space for now and you feel like youre due to hit a big score in a tourney rather than being willing to grind it out like you used to. I dont mean to shit on you, you've been my favorite poker vlogger for 4+ years but I just want to make sure youre good mentally before buying in for thousands of dollars to tourneys and trying to rely on flips. It might be a good idea to just stream on Stake with your sponsor money for the meantime and build the bankroll back up then get back at it. You have a ton of skills, just need to be in the right mindset to utilize them. Much love
That whole room key thing sounds fishy. I am guessing it is some kind of prop bet Danny has with someone if he can get you to bring him a room key every day of the WSOP
Don't get down Ryan. You are saving many people thousands of dollar. By watching you torch money, many degens can live vicariously through you instead of gambling.
Whatever happens we are here for you dawg. I remember watching when you would hop on the bus with your little check to go to the casino. Hopefully a good sponsor comes your way so you can keep gambling!
I'm the same...I love poker but sitting down for 8 hours of boredom mixed in with 2 total minutes of anxiety or being there 30 minutes and get gut punched out of the tourny on a bad beat is not my idea of fun...it's no wonder why some players just say phuck it and punt their brains out.
RDP, you da best man. I think a lot of us with the same type of personality gravitate towards the vlog because of that. Keep being yourself man. Consider this another supportive message!
6:25 that is one time I agree on late reg strategy for a pro. I ain’t tryin to hate, you can play your game how you want I just personally don’t see the value of being a good player and then letting everything be decided by flip equity (unless you’re ADD and you do it to try and avoid boredom punts which is totally a thing).
I’ve been watching your vlog for years. Since the beginning! And that’s important bc I don’t think I’ve ever not broken out into dance moves when your outro song comes on
You've brought so much fun and pathos to the series. You're obviously a secret sweetheart and you’ve busted some tournies. Nice content and keep it going you fkin degen
Bro I know Daniel is multi millionaire but you dont have to burn his money the fast way possible... and ofc Danny is fat but at least hes cashing tournaments.
How does Danny keep losing his room key? Does he lose his credit cards and rewards card at the same frequency? I'm beginning to think somethings not right. I think its Danny's elaborate joke to get Ran back for the whole "Is Danny Fat" bit.
Hey Ryan, just echoing what everyone else is saying. We love you. We love the vlogs. We want to see you play , but we want to see you healthy more. Also, please keep the Danny series alive, hes my favorite side character.
Life isn’t over Ryan you still get to go home enjoy life with friends and family. Just keep your head up we might be coming to the end of the road but make it the most exciting degen shit ever love love love
@@josephmcbrien7646 he was plugging WSOP poker app in his videos which is a direct competitor of ACR. He was advertising ACR competitor and ACR did not like that.
He’ll bounce back. Got to stop late regs. You’re late regging just to rebuy. Jamming really wide in these WSOP vlogs. KQ for 30 bigs last vlog and calling a jam with 10s on a Q82 board. A4 with a crazy board. N using late reg logic
Wow that heartfelt moment is a bit of a rarity haha but but I think it resonated with, well, everyone whose had the poker dream and hasnt sun run tf out of it and have to make some decisions over it. Im in similar boat, didnt fire the main this yr (cashed last yr) as I already dusted the roll I brought out there. glgl
Imagine if you never got youtube revenue or any sponsorships while losing hundreds to thousands per day. Trying to be a real professional poker player/gambler requires lots of studying, resilience, extreme bankroll managment and most of all luck in key spots. Just accept and enjoy being a simple degen gambler who is lucky enough to have income from other sources and your anxiety should melt away. I understand you want to be respected as a great poker player which adds to the pressure but don't worry if you keep at it big scores and respect will come.
Ryan does not want to be respected he just wants to volg and degen his money. He gets to do it in public. I get to do it at a public card room. Gambling is bad but drugs are worse.
Here's an idea...start a series titled "The $100 to $100,000 Poker Challenge" then start with $100, go to casinos, play online, home games etc and play $1/$2, then move onto bigger games as you build your stack.
We all care about you, and I mean this with no disrespect…you should consider playing in the WSOP Circuit. The WSOPC at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Resort (North Carolina) is always the biggest stop each year. Cherokee continues to break records with the number of players…a few events will have 2,000+ entries.
Poker is a rollercoaster sometimes it feels you cant lose sometimes like you cant win just gotta try to tough out the bad times. Don't keep going if you are losing too much money, gambling isn't worth fkjng your life for.
Have you considered reg'ing early and playing something other than 1 street poker and flipping for your tournament life within an hour of sitting down? Anyway, still a fan of your content. Better luck next season.
