Empty apartment tour of our 1 bed + 1 bath space in Vancouver BC! We pay around $2500 CAD per month which includes storage and a parking space.
This is the first time Cliff and I lived outside of our family homes... and we're both really excited!! Here's to a new chapter :)

When you said you got a rental for $2500 in Vancouver I was shocked at such a great deal. This is Burnaby which is a suburb in the metro Vancouver area. Anyone watching this video- If you are planning to live in the city of Vancouver you will pay more than $2500/month- this is suburb pricing and a 30 minute drive on the hwy to get to Vancouver.

Hmm $2500 per month rent for a 500~ something sq ft apartment without AC seems overpriced. Plus Brentwood is just... alright imo (high traffic with overpriced mall, especially food court) . Curious as to how you've been liking the location and space. Do you both work from home?

We both work from home! Definitely on the pricier side, but we appreciate the convenience (everything is walking distance) and that it's pretty quiet for the most part :)

Do any apartments come with air conditioning in Vancouver? I have never heard of this. It would be handy for the 7-10 days in the summer where you’d actually need it.

How much does a two-bedroom house cost in Vancouver?

Unlikely for a house to get two bedroom, i feel like most houses here would be 3/4 bedrooms or more. Usually would be a flat, and it depends on the location. Downtown, it's completely crazy, $2500-4000, the farther you go, the less expensive of course. I'm in Richmond in a two bedrooms two bathrooms and we pay around $2000 for the whole with my roommate and while it might seem expensive, it's actually pretty normal for the Vancouver area...
