It’s crazy coming back to this video. Casey is now “retired” and shows up once in a while, and Jimmy is literally the biggest RU-vidr of all time. A lot can change in three years.
Exactly. I don't think Casey is being mean or has any ill intent. In response to a comment about Casey not grasping Mr. Beast being generous, I don't think so. Casey helped a friend by setting up a gofundme to raise money for the guy's sister's surgery. Casey's also generous to his fans he encounters while recording. I think Casey admires Mr. Beast and was hoping to uncover more depth in Mr. Beast. I think his question about views is legit. I'm leary of people who record themselves being generous. I think what Casey wanted to know is Mr. Beast genuine with his deeds or is he using the people he's helping as another prop for a potential viral video.
@@forxass4582 100% disagree and I don't watch his videos nor follow him, meaning I don't hold a positive or negative bias. It's clear by his demeanor and body language that is young, awkward, and genuine. Regardless, what could he say in an interview that would fk up his career?
But he didn't. He sat in front of his webcam for many many mind numbing hours doing nothing particularly special and got paid for it. And that is the millienial way of thinking.
@@whitestuff10 it is way deeper than that. For the most part as long as vids on youtube gets views then ads will bring in revenue. sure some of his vids may seem dumb in theory like counting to 100k but it is still bizarre enough to get peoples attention. All of his vids are special and hes defintely nothing like most other youtubers so dont downplay my boi mr beast hes always been on that grind taking risks and following his youtube passion and now he makes millions so who are you to say anything 😎👏🔥💯
“I don’t like talking about something I’m not really educated about” That is something that no one says. Just another reason why Mr. Beast is a good guy.
@@JeffPapenhausen Because there seems to be a pervading attitude of instant gratification and something for nothing culture, people expect to put up 2 videos and get 10,000 subs in a week, to me its a snappier version of the old phrase "it takes 10 years to be an overnight success"
Most people that have a company that employs dozens or more people commonly employ family, including their parents... Maybe not "most", but a large percentage for sure.
@xOr Besides, it never helps anyone to use family members as employees. Even if you are robotic in your management decisions, non family workers will think any benefit to family is not earned, and family workers will always feel they are treated harsher so others don't think there are special treatment for them.
Levon Alyanakian he’s not rude he jus doesn’t only care ab how many followers he has or views or subscribers he likes helping people because giving to others gives u dopeamine and he’s thankfully for the subscribers because they support him in getting more money to help more people
Nope never seen Casey count for hours, never seen him give a homeless man a house either . So each are legends in their own right, but just for different reasons .
This video totally changed my view no Mr. Beast. Thought he is another RU-vidr doing silly things just to gain views but he is actually quite a humble and hardworking guy.
I thought the same thing too until I started watching more of his videos. There were too many RU-vid fuckbois making viral money-jerk vids at that time, but he’s actually pretty genuine.
He was trying to dodge the question because deep down Mr. Beast knows he only makes the videos for views so he can make more money. He might be supporting his family, but still his intent is to make money.
I had been coping with asthma for 9 years already and My life is a total misery. All those steroids, coughing up gloopy mucus, chest tightness and scary times when I cannot breathe because of narrowed airways, it's pure suffering
One of my favorite Mr.Beast's shows is when he paid for an older man's rent for a year and he totally furnished the apartment and bought clothes for him and spoiled the older gentleman and it made me so happy.
I think the most interesting interviews are from people at the time before they took over the world. There you can grasp the best idea and purest form of their mindset.
@@tonytippmann511 what are you even talking about dude.. he gets compensated by making money from youtube. if you mean he's faking this then if he was faking all this shit which he would still have to pay for actors then people would have exposed him.. theres way too many "actors" he would have to hire from the amount of videos he's made. plus he's famous and that means he would have to pay everyone even more now just to keep their mouths shut.. either way this is a stupid comment and he's still being compensated and is definitely giving money out
the reason why mr.beast is so successful and scandal-free, is because he's actually a good guy. It's probably due to the fact that he was very ill when he was younger that he appreciates life and doesn't take money too seriously.
Because Jimmy follows the golden rule. In the end Jimmy aka Mr Beast will have all his dreams come true and be very well off. It’s being proven each day as his success grows and grows. Remember money is just a tool, and that’s how Jim approaches it.
@@mr.randomizer6874 To people saying Pewdiepie: I like Pewdiepie because he is honest and genuine. Someone I would like to have as a friend but he is nowhere near the generosity of Jimmy. I have Crohn's Disease as well. Very inspiring to see how Jimmy hasn't let it step in the way of his success on RU-vid. Appreciate this interview Casey!
I think part of the reason Casey comes off as cynical and just not as appealing as Mr Beast in this specific interview is because of their individual views on RU-vid. Casey, like many other RU-vidrs, makes content that HE wants to make. He does what he does because he like it. His audience influences his decisions, but he does what he wants. Mr Beast on the other hand, runs a channel purely based on giving people what they want, whether that's the money he gives away in his videos, or if he makes videos that PEOPLE want to see. They both have different strategies to RU-vid, neither of which are wrong, and which result in two different types of content.
Mr. Beast also does what he wants to do but they both have different personalities. Casey is more logical and most logical people are cynical. Mr. Beast is an idealist and the kinda guy who preaches "let's make the world a better place". He's the Michael Jackson of RU-vid. He'll be remembered for a long time after he's gone.
I don’t feel Casey came off cynical at all, in fact he was very down to earth and asking the intelligent questions. Mr. Beast needs to improve his listening skills. He cut Casey off a on almost every question. In fact there were several questions that had he let Casey finish, he would have interpreted differently. Here’s the deal, Mr. Beast is young, he has a lot to learn. Casey would make a good mentor for a young man such as him. Hopefully the Beast has enough thought provoking fortitude to ask Casey to be his Mentor or just someone he can call to bounce stuff off of. Casey is incredibly talented, the Beast could learn a lot!
Casey, I really enjoyed the interview. Great format, and great questions from you as the interviewer. You guys had a really informative dialogue. It's refreshing!
He had a lot of money problems in his life! This trauma is very big and hard to understand for regular people ho had a nice life ... I think he is honest and this is the best thing to do!
This video changed my life. In eight months I uploaded 901 youtube videos and have 245k subs now and over a million followers on other socials. I can't say enough how influential this interview is.
Wait how?, this video teaches nothing, just make things that have never been done in the platform and make them the most absurd possible, that will make sure you go viral at first, work for years and years on bettering your videos and reinvest all you earn to make more interesting and better videos, how is that good advice and not something anyone can know by watching a 5 minute video on how to grow in RU-vid, Jimmy gives generic advice, I think he legit got lucky with the counting to 100 hundred thousand video and from then on he was set, so his advice hasn't advanced pass that "Make a video you know will go viral." advice, I'm not saying he gives bad advice, just generic one.
Sutter Family Films i feel like casey was asking questions were most answers would make Mr.Beast look bad, like he is looking for "im doing it for the money" up in till mid-way video
Mr. Beast is so...authentic. And genuine. Absolutely no thought or scheming or planning. Just straight up "idk...cuz I wanted to." Such authenticity. Wow. *Edit: gosh darn thanks for the likes!*
I completely forgot about your channel and just 25 min ago found you again. I just sat through 24 minutes of a RU-vid video and don't regret it. Amazing video, love your channel.
All Day Son whats there to expose, he has been working his ass off to become a famous youtuber and he finally did it. People like his videos and he likes what he’s doing.
@All Day Son lmao your clown ass makes zero sense " I'm not beIN negative" " it'll be exposed that he pays for views" you sure you aren't twelve, because you honestly sound like it, and while he does pay his friends to do challanges he gets plenty of random people too, you don't have to like his videos that's fine, but yo ass don't know what you're talking about.
That's not what this was. The guy was just frequently not understanding simple questions which meant a lot of trying to rephrase things to get a response not totally inane out of him. Basically, Beast is not the sharpest light bulb in the shed.
Love Mr. Beast. When Jimmy invited me and some of my magician friends to perform for him and his crew, we felt like he was family. Jimmy is a legend and such a great human!
wtf are you even talking about, hes talking around corners and drifting away from the real questions. you must be another 15 year old to be this blind lmao
DarkCap how is drifting away from the questions ?? He answered the questions Casey asked him , Casey wasn’t asking the best questions like he didn’t them that well , and Mr beast was just answering them as best as he could nothing you can do when the questions aren’t great 😂
@dejuren you are not understanding, if he does throw cash only to help people then he wont make much to keep it going. Of course he will throw cash to make fun challenges that's how he became so big and and get 100M views a video. If you look deeply, MrBeast is way better then any other RU-vidrs. Don't diss in his man. Jimmy Donaldson has inspired me to become phelentropic. I wanted to become full time challenge creator, but because of his motivation, I want to be one big doing insane challenges and help people and just other things too. Man's the king of RU-vid and thanks to everyone who likes him, we need more people not copy him but be more phelentropic and less materialistic.
@dejuren I will succeed bro. Like how Andrew Tate saying in a video. "Imagine rolling a dice and you have to get a six" "you can't it's random/unknown/difficult" "but I have to" 🤣 yeah same mentality, I get inspiration from every direction but the core inspiration comes from within the self, and I truly believe I'll succeed, I have to 🤣🤣🤣 lol, just go crazy like MrBeast that's my plan like how old MrBeast did. I'm going to film riding a marathon on a flat bicycle today 👽 me need veeeeews in the millions 😭
@dejuren you are funny. I don't know what incel means so I Google it. It's hilarious because I am a super shy guy it's always been impossible to get a GF. Haha, watching him does make no difference. He is not a bad person, but I get what you are saying little bit. But man's speaks facts. I like him. And for me to get in relationship I have to succeed on RU-vid or it's impossible. Getting a girlfriend is harder then succeeding on RU-vid, I don't talk to people but I can talk so much making videos, makes no sense but it's what it is. And im Nepali, barely people care about who you watch on social media, not a big deal 🤣
@dejuren also I don't know how to make friends. People be having random as sports conversations or anything and everything I'm not interested. I like talking about RU-vid and buisness, and almost everybody I know ain't the same. It's a lonely place here 🧒

Hold up, I just stumbled upon this video. I had no idea that Jimmy has Crohn's. I have Crohn's (amongst other things) and I've experienced being really sick from it too, the medication process, everything. The fact that he's living with that and at such a high on RU-vid, helping the world, it's just so inspiring. There are so many people out there in the world that struggle with mental or chronic illnesses and think that they can't do amazing things or be something amazing in the world because they feel lesser than other people. That's not true, anyone can be anything they want to be if they just strive and work for it, just like Jimmy. In fact, there are so many famous people out there living with illnesses, and we might not even know. Thank u to Jimmy for sharing that and for inspiring everyone to be kind to one another and to follow their dreams. If Mr. Beast ever reads this (I don't know how to tag him in it), I hope he knows that he's amazing and we are all so thankful for everything he's done for the world. +MrBeast
Humble my a**. He mostly gets money from the sponsors to do all that "generous" stuff, and in return he gains lots of views and money. He is always hungry for attention. This is the bitter truth, which none of you wanna hear.
I love that Casey just can't comprehend Mr.Beast doing things because its a random funny idea and not having this whole over-arching scheme behind everything
I'm late in this game, but damn, what a great interview. Casey asked so many challenging questions, and Mr. Beast handles all of them with honesty and humility. Maybe the two greatest youtubers of all time. Bravo!
I think the reason his mouth barely moves when he talks is because saying all of these things so many times it would take so much energy to move your lips, so he just started barely moving his lips and now speaks like that. Maximum speak efficiency.
