Same here. It’s seems like the flood light with a diffuser attached will be almost as solid as the aperture lights. Great vid I just needed a way to control my flood light. Those flood light lit up a dark club scene which with color grading came out great but my clients had to get accustomed to the brightness thanks.

Hey I used work lights with parchment paper 30 years ago when I was shooting film... I am glad that in the era of digital cameras some people still use it. I had at least 10-15 of those installed in my house and to expand even further I had barn doors on some of them which were painted matte black to direct lights were I wanted them. That's how I started shooting portraits on the budget and once I have set all settings on my camera (film body) I never moved that body out of studio, just to make sure that I do not mess my settings. Nice take on that!

GREAT Video! Most likely the difference was in the camera's Dynamic Range and Color Depth, besides the MUCH better piece of Glass, having much better MicroContrast. So, there's little to no difference between the lights. But the transport convenience.

That sounds like a good idea, although for under $50, I don't know. A single light stand usually cost more. However, it can be done if you make it out of wood, use a saw and drill it the ceiling. I have a plan for that, but I'm not sure if that would work for the average joe
