Wish my Target in Seattle had better retail. Too many ppl stealing I guess but we literally have no cards on shelves or anywhere in the store. It’s a bummer
I live near a target but they never ever have cards in stock. I also live near a Walmart and there cards are online only. So the closest place is about 45-60 mi it’s away
Shelves and shelves of total garbage. Those "metal" cards -- you'll have to pay someone to take them home from a tag sale in a few years. What a waste. Glad to see people aren't spending what little money they have on this stuff any longer. The folks who run this "hobby" are in need of a market correction again.
Jabs you have the hook up for retail. Denver is always depleted. And granted I am not one to chase restocks because frankly that is not the point of collecting
Starting collecting in 1974 with Topps baseball. First year they released all the cards at once (kind of like Netflix does now). Wax packs were maybe 15 cents. The "chase" cards were Hank Aaron Home Run King #1 and the Aaron specials #2-6. To see the amount and scope of material in that Target is mind-blowing. Hopefully people find the hobby as fun as I did at 12 years old.
Your return from the 3 blaster boxes approximately what I pulled from 7 blasters. Maybe someone has been weighing at my Target, but blasters have been a total miss for me.
Jabs… I’m sorry if you have said this 100 times. I understand what the MVP buyback program is… but what does Topps do with the cards? Are we going to have a bunch of these autographed in a few years in Archives?
They go into the next years chrome release. This years chrome has the buyback autos from last year in redemption’s. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure.
Amazing any bozo still buys boxes instead of singles of what interests them but I guess there won’t be singles to buy if folks don’t piss away money on boxes
Where the Pirates are now I'm glad they are taking Cruz out until next year. They clocked Elly from 1st to home in 9.6 seconds. With the red jersey I'm waiting for him to be referred to as The Flash.
Way better selection than what I've seen the other day. All I was able to get were a couple Donruss basketball and O-Pee-Chee hockey fat packs. Let's just say there was a reason they were still there.
