I though it was an embedded commercial for the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) until I figured it was just him pumping for Jesus. Same difference I suppose, all looking for cash carrying sinners to fill the seats.

@@rickdees251 No Rick you are wrong. He is trying to keep people from going to Hell not looking for money and you had better heed his advice because you will stand before God and if you did not trust in Jesus as your savior then I would not trade places with you for Bill Gates money.

@@rickdees251 that is an interesting strategy: go for the money by reaching out to people who can’t afford to pay for septic repairs. This guy knew that he was going to receive a lot of negative responses to his presentation of the Gospel, and yet he cares enough about the people who would be saying bad things about him, to make an appeal for their soul. I pray that someday God will remove your heart of stone and bless you with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).

Thanks for the nice comment. Understand we all have done things in our past that we are not real proud of for the bible says, "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Jesus knew that neither you or I could live a life good enough to earn our right standing with God so that is why he laid down his life on the cross taking the punishment for your sin and mine. Salvation is a free gift there for the taking. I will be praying for you. I would encourage you to pray, "God if you are real and out there show yourself to me in a practical way." He will answer that prayer!!!
@nelseshaver2679
@nelseshaver2679 4 месяца назад
Praying for you and everyone in the same place you are. I ask that you not think so much about "Burning for eternity" but instead think of how much better it is to live as God's obedient child. He provides us with all we need and He guides our efforts and blesses us when we seek His will. I believed my whole life but only lived as His obedient child for the last 10 years. And I am actually still working on the obedient part. I will be 60 years old in August so you see that some of us take a long time. He understands and He judges righteously. I hope this comment gives you good thoughts about the matter.

Thank you for this video, I have been saying this for the past 8 plus yrs, my home is only 14 yrs old & djainfield replaced twice & failed AGAIN! My lot was originally in a flood zone, & builder had it “ changed” so he could build. Yard was not excavated correctly, can’t keep going thru this, ( terminally ill) . Also believe in gravel over those stupid domes, BUT septic company keep saying it was the BEST! Definitely going todo this, THANK YOU, I worked for a builder yrs ago in another state, & NEVER installed dome systems, thank you , now I know I am not crazy.

Inside the tank there should be "T" on inlet and outlets with a dip pipe about 14" , this prevent solids from backing to plug line from house, and keeps floating solids from going out to field lines and plugging them. Top of the "T" s should be open and 2" below top of tank so gases can escape, and the waste water can flow. If the 'T' is missing replace it that will help prevent plugging field distribution perforated lines.

The last septic tank I worked on was placed in 2006, and had the Tee outlet with filter. However, the filter extended from the top of the tee, past the horizontal outlet, down to the bottom of the tee. There was no way for scum to enter the top of the tee due to the solid top of the filter. Only effluent could pass from the bottom of the tee. If sludge ever did reach that high, nothing could exit. I'm a firm believer in using an outlet tee with the proper filter.

@@creativerepairing2960 The drain field couldn't handle the load of 6 people. 4 were kids who loved to take long showers... We were in a new area close to a bog. Drainage was rather suspect. Plus, we had a 'food disposal', which is against code for a septic tank. The convenience didn't stop us from using it though... Anyway, the field clogged after 3 years of use, not exactly sure why, but the long showers & laundry use must have been factors. I had tried to introduce 'aeration' to the tank, as I had learned that aerobic bacteria can even consume the 'BIOMAT' that has been formed in a drain field. Turns out that since my tank was a 'single chamber', the aeration simply put into suspension ALL the sludge & grease scum, and this clogged the outlet drain filter. So, the tank was overflowing AGAIN because effluent couldn't even get to the drain field.... Grrrrr.... Yeah, i learned that to use 'aeration', you really need at least TWO chambers, preferably three. The first to catch it all, with sludge going to the bottom, and scum on the top. The second to have the 'aerator' introduce oxygen into the effluent to heal the drain field. And the third chamber to settle down and relax any suspension of scum/sludge that may have gotten through to the second chamber. This final chamber should only have calm, aerated/oxygenated effluent to introduce to the drain field. It would make sense to have access panels to each inlet/outlet and to have filters on each outlet for safety. Gosh, this is a long post for someone who has only worked on one septic tank. Take it for what it's worth. 😁
@gauravvij67
@gauravvij67 Месяц назад
You could put an aerator on a timer for a few hours when your asleep to allow it to settle or septic genie is its own chamber you drop in
@rusosure7
@rusosure7 Месяц назад
@@gauravvij67 I really like your 'timer' solution. That could 'aerate' the effluent sufficiently and allow the scum/sludge to float/fall out of suspension and allow the clear effluent to flow out to the leach field without clogging the outlet filter. I just watched the video on the Septic Genie. I dunno, seems to me like it would suspend scum/sludge too much and clog the outlet filter on a single chamber tank.

Just a little note. I've installed 3 separate infiltrator style drain fields in clay and pure sand. The new infiltrators have side slits that allow the sides to leak effluent witch greatly increases their capacity. They also do not fill with micro solids like gravel does. The reason most septic installers prefer gravel is it's cheap and they can make a much larger profit. My local septic installer is part owner in the gravel pit. How many infiltrator systems do you think he installs. Zero. Absolutely zero. Yet in most cases it greatly reduces the footprint of the drain field. Sad but true.

I don't disagree with what you said. I have also used the environmental domes / infiltrators but found they didn't last as long as the gravel. I used to think the micro solids would stick to the sides of the gravel thus giving more capacity to the gravel vs dome since the surface of the edges of the drain field would have less build up over time. A couple years ago I dug up an old dome system and found the first dome in the row was blocked by micro solids thus plugging up the system yet the rear domes were still clear. The reason this doesn't happen with gravel is because of the long black corrugated pipe with holes in it which distributes the micro solids over the entire drain field thus giving it a longer life. After realizing this we reinstalled the same domes back in and set them on top of a row of 8 inch cinder block which effectively tripled the amount of capacity the domes have before the micro solids build up above the "side slits" thus plugging the system. Additionally I am considering adding a second mini tank with a filter thus eliminating the micro solids from reaching the drain field all together.
