I basically took your last 1400 budget build and upgraded everything to the parts mentioned here: but sticked with the nzxt h1 case. So far - everything running cool and quite quiet!
That's almost my build ! The only notable difference is the case, I went for the tad larger Lian Li 215 with 2x200mm fans at the front. I highly approve the use of Fan Control for fans, and suggest Signal RGB for the RGB as well. These two are able to tune everything without installing every single company software. As always, amazing video quality.
At this point is ddr5 definitely better than ddr4 no matter what? Cuz i think he said in the video that the latest ddr4 perforns better than the first gen ddr5?
PLEASE. Don't let anyone buy you out. Your production value is one of the, if not, THE best ony RU-vid. I'm not saying don't change but just keep up your amazing work on these videos!
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I understand the importance of keeping our setups clean. Have you considered the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it perfect for maintaining a spotless environment. With its compact size and versatile accessories, it's a great tool for both desktop and car cleaning. Plus, the brushless motor ensures enhanced power. Check it out!
That SSD is gonna chug 4 lanes from top most PCI-e slot, reducing GPU to x8 lane performance (not much of a difference, anyway, but x8 generally uses more VRAM compared to x16)
Im looking at spending this much, it will be my first build and i like the look of this. To add to that your video has made it really clear how to build it! I'm going to build this
Very cool video. Good to see there's still some interesting builds to be had in this market. Still, I am never buying another NZXT product after the H1. Annoying that they messed it up, but the reason I refuse to give them any more money is that their support is horrible and their response to major defects in their products is horrible.
That's the only product that I won't buy from NZXT. Since their other parts are functioning well, I would recommend them. Customer service/support is hit or miss, different people will experience different types of service they receive
@@keonxd8918one of their products except for their power supplies. Their fans are overpriced and mediocre. Same with their AIOs. And their cases are either toasters, like the h510, or overpriced.
I love the NZXT H5 Flow case. I recently rebuilt by PC in this case and it was very easy. I especially love the angled fan to draw in fresh air for the GPU. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this case for new builders.
Hey there! I noticed you left a comment with "{{3}}". Based on the title and your comment, it seems like you're interested in PC building and maintenance. Have you heard of the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It's a compact device that combines vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it great for cleaning your desktop, car, and more. It's got some cool features like multiple tubes, high-quality filters, and efficient storage. Might be worth checking out if you're looking for a versatile cleaning tool! 😄
Nice. I just bought an RTX 4070 TI build, with an i7 13700KF, 64gb ram, and 2tb SSD, running on the Asrock Z690 Steel Legend Wi-Fi. To say that my current PC is old would be an understatement: currently rocking the 970, with an i7-6700K from 2015! The new PC should be here next week and is going to be an enormous upgrade, right in time for Starfield and Cities Skyline 2!
Light-years better than what I had. Everything loads so quickly, no issues with any games, everything at the highest settings. Well worth the purchase. @@jex115
Looks good. I think the radiator would have looked better on top which would have allowed for the cooling pipes to stay clear of the AIO LCD. Great upgrade for your friend.
Not to mention those front fans are gonna blow the heat from the radiator into the case, unless they are set to pull it out of the case. that would mean the others ar set to push air in.
Just buy used when looking for previous gen stuff. Sure it’s not going to last as long but if you’re buying 80/90 cards you probably aren’t going to keep it that long anyway. I payed 400 dollars for mine used 3080, and I intend to sell it within two years which would probably mean getting half of that back.
Love the H5 Flow. I did a build last year with a 12100/3070ti combo. I went with a Noctua Redux grey fan contrast that was excellent for thermals and noise. All in about $800 scoring a good deal on the 3070ti from my local marketplace.
water is heavier than air. hoses at the bottom always. run the pump hanging off the desk before mounting and viola air is all trapped in the top of the rad
I'm soooooooo confused. That GPU and CPU by themselves are $2000 on the amazon links and the total is $3,662.20 AUD ($2558 USD) if you add every item linked in the description? Perhaps you mean $2000 GBP?
@@nostrum6410 not sure where you live but if you swim in the ocean for long enough you'll eventually get to another land mass and they'll usually deal in other forms of currency.
Well, I am glad I found you and your video. So I'm just going to toss this out there, this unit that you just showed us, can this unit Play Diablo III, Diablo IV, Final Fantasy 16, WOW, Star Wars the Old Republic Online, etc? I was looking into Build Redux, Starforge, and Digital Storm. I just want to find something new after not looking into anything in a very, very long time. But it's not just games, I plan on doing music, content creations, videos. I'm going to go watch your "how to build a powerful gaming PC" video now. I just don't know at this day and age if I myself actually wants to build one from scratch. I have no issues paying for it, just want good quality that will last for at least 5 years or so. I mean, I know we all wish our stuff could last into the decades but tech advancements don't always allow for that LOL. Well, anyway, thanks.
Its the best for 1440p not just 1440p and almost the second best for 4k cuz 4080 not that big fps difference at 4k but 4090 is crazy good for 4k so not any 1440p and the cpu for gaming is the best cuz 13900k cant even beat 13600k in any game even at 1080p same for amd cpus too 7600x is close to it only 7000x3d will give you way better fps and its overkill for 1440p too so yeah next gen will focus on 4k and 8k 1440p will be like 1080p with next gen its the future
You don't like your friend much, do you? Pairing 13600k with a DDR4 RAM is what I call blasphemy. Yeah, it supports it, but why would anyone want to lose the performance? Especially in a $2000 PC. Instead of getting an AIO cooler you (or your friend) could have gone for a cheaper air cooler (Thermalright or Deepcool, heck, even NH-D15) and put the money saved towards DDR5. Then you go and mount the radiator at the front. So if those 2 extra fans on top are exhaust fans you created a completely negative pressure PC. Why? So your friend can have as much dust inside as possible? If they are intake fans the air being pulled in is going to get pulled out immediately by the rear exhaust fan and the front radiator fans. So no cool air for the graphics card. It will bake in its own sweat, so to speak. Instead of having 3 front fans pulling in cool air and the rear exhaust fan plus the radiator fans at the top pushing out the hot air you have created a negative pressure monster. Why? Why would anyone do that? This PC has nowhere near the performance it should have for 2 grand. The cooling is... there is actually no cooling. Yup, you must not like your friend at all.
@mr.pineapplez9077then you did the right thing and I salute you. Now you can enjoy performance that the friend of the person in this video can only dream about.
@@LazMann77 hey mate, you get DDR4 if you are on a budget (as in building a PC as cheap as possible). If you're building a PC for 2 grand you can afford DDR5. And you get the performance you should have for that amount of money. Put the radiator on the top, make the front fans intake fans and you'll have a perfect gaming rig. Hope this helps.
@@mzprx76 tysm, i need some more help tho, so for the ddr5 i will need a MSI MGP z790 tomahawk other than the ram am wondering will the other stuff in this video fit in the z790 like the ssd,and the gpu, for the case i searched and i know it fits but for the other stuff i dont know, if you do please reply am in need of it quick becouse i dont have much time i need to build the pc quicky.
I have the 1070 ti too, on 1800x. Basically in this video, the CPU, GPU, Mobo and SSD is just what I need. I can still salvage the rest from my current build (because the remain components aren't that old)
The radiator should be mounted tubes down, so that the air gets trapped on top of the radiator and doesn't affect the water flow. If tubes down doesn't fit, the second best option is to mount it on top of the case as exaust. This has been proved by gamers nexus.
Should be able to game in 4K with that, it’s my understanding the 4070 ti is slightly higher performance then the 3080. I guess for competitive gaming you might want the higher fps, I’d be perfectly happy with 120 fps in 4K though, and just fine with anything over 60 in single player titles.
Mixed settings in some games yes, the bus is the limiting factor. In lets say Deep Rock Galactic yea you could do above 60FPS max settings 4k but Hogwarts you will have to lower to around medium to high mixed settings.
my pc was just under 2k and it had the CPU: ryzen 7 7800x3d GPU: XFX Black Edition 7900XT With 32gb ddr5 and a corsair 360 mm aio with lcd. It took me like a month to find the best deals and even bought the cpu for 350$ on vacation at a micro center.
decent build but should have put those rad fans on the inside pulling air in so that the rad can be cleaned easier and you don't have to take the fans off to get dust off.
this is what I call high quality content all these content creators praise they have the quality that us viewers haven’t seen, but wow the production quality of this video and lighting and setting is just perfect
Ryzen 5 7600 or Ryzen 7 7700 with an Rx 7800XT or RX 7900XT would be a better choice imo. The AM5 platform is much more futureproof than intel right now due to the fact that intel's current socket will come to an end with 14th gen. The 7800XT and 7900XT are both better options than the 4070Ti, solely because of Vram. The 4070Ti is a really good card but it should've had 16GB of Vram. Because it has only 12, it will make it a lot less futureproof compared to the 7800XT or 7900XT
Not bad but idk I feel like AMD is better when it comes to CPU price to performance and if he went that Route he could have gotten 4080 instead of 4070 TI I got this for 2050 Euros recently, and I could have had this for waaay cheaper if I went with DDR 4 which would cut price around 200 euros. Great build! The way you installed the 1VHPWR adapter that smells instantly like voided warranty :D All manufacturers suggest to keep the cable straight for a few centimeters and you just bent it immediately. That 12VHPWR design is just bad anyway.
