Joey I love your videos and channel. All I’m saying about commander masters is you shouldn’t be ringing a bell for a $30 card from a $50 pack. You don’t ring the bell for a $3 card from a $5 pack amiright? From what I’m seeing the actual bombs are extremely few and far between. Thank you for opening these so I can live vicariously since I’m into getting value for my money. I’d really like to see you do a video like this with values on the screen now that we’re in post release and past the fake prices.

The most interesting part of this pack openings is that the seller pretends to be your friend and that he's in it with you... But in reality he's the one selling you the overpriced packs.

I got a textured kozilek in my pack. There’s so little of the actual texture effect on it that I didn’t even realise at first

I NEVER saw singles so cheap on DAY 1 of release. Some have already adjusted back up somewhat, but goddamn, did I do MAGNIFICENT on TCGplayer last night into the early a.m. I mean, it usually takes a couple weeks, but I saw bottom of the bottom on some cards that absolutely didn't deserve to be there.

The best card I opened was a Etched foil Immortal sun. I’m not selling it the card will always be good.

i love how the singles on release date already crashed hard and people undercutting themself not for cents, for multiples dollars ^^ tooth and nail for 2 dollars :D the commander legends lands for 5 dollars.. hilarious this fear of selling fast before the next reprint comes. I am waiting for the etched foil crash and get me a demonic tutor and maybe a ur dragon or ulamog in 1 month for -50% maybe also check the prices on doubling season cause it already gets a reprint in 1 month and maybe people panicsells it. Buying singles was never so true and real like now

Got an extended art Demonic Tutor in my "collectors packs" in the Eldrazi commander deck. Also foil extended art Fierce Guardianship so I am happy.

first mythic I opened was a Textured Ulamog was bitter sweet because there is only 2 cards better but sweet that i got not just a good textured but one of the best.

that’s the sad state that your local card shop gets out in.. and then when you (me) ask questions about the pricing differences they get super butthurt at you (me) the purchaser… oh my bad for questions!!

It's not that no one cares about the set it's because they've printed the cards into the ground. Smothering tithe has been printed a ton over the past year, again in this set, and will be in wilds of eldraine as well. There's only so many times you can print a card before its value drops into the gutter. When a pack is $50, $15 mythics aren't going to get people cracking. Then you have cards like Capture of Jingzhou, which is just temporal manipulation which has been printed a ton already.

Hey guys I noticed in the second pack the island is foil. I got a shiny foil in a pack too except mine has a very large star on the bottom that almost goes into the island symbol. Why is mine different?

Is it wrong to only want the set so I could get all the little Commander staples there in the common in a common slots lol

this is redundant, seeing everything in collectors boosters but the lotus from every single I've seen on yt, they just released future schedule, you could have bought a lotus at this point

The consumers need to stop supporting these sets. Sucks for LGS and channels like this, but if you look at an average box and what you could get in singles, it’s not even a question of what the better play is.

I won a collectors booster. When I cracked it it had back to back smothering tithes. Both full art 1 foil 1 non foil

This is just way too expensive. Should be $179.00 for 12 packs. And the set booster’s price should be cut in half.

The set quality is good, just disastrously overpriced. Eternal Masters era sets were great because they were priced such that you could reliably profit from a box, so it was exciting to open. More recent masters sets are getting pricier and pricier (WoTC essentially just retailing us the cards now) so pack buying is more of a multi-hundred dollar gamble than ever before. Looks like you're lucky in this set if you just get your money back, so I've dodged it like the plague and I'm pretty glad I did seeing the average pack pulls.

Well I got hosed… opened two boxes at home and got a regular foil and a borderless foil jeweled lotus. Just the way it goes sometimes. 😂

Today I saw Amazon had same day delivery on these packs at $190 so I bought one and cracked about $170 in value. Not too bad for 4 packs of cards (I’ve had worse tanks), but my confidence in the cards retaining value is dwindling given the declines going on. I feel like such a sinner for supporting this product, lol. Probably the first and last time I buy CMM. The Eldraine stuff that I’ve seen has me kinda excited for that set. The art looks pretty awesome so far. Think I’ll skip CMM and invest in Eldraine pre-orders instead.
