Incred-I-Box #3 is set up at Amanda’s house in the beautiful East Tennessee trees 🌲 🧡 Take a look at how gorgeous your Incred-I-Box can be 😉🤗🏡🌲🇺🇸🧡🤩 www.incredible...
I hear you on the people needing housing before nursing homes. I’m a long term care nurse. THATS why I’ve asked multiple times about bigger showers and bathrooms to allow for aging in place. Please help us who are maybe not quite there--but we know it’s coming. ❤️❤️
@@mse7501 Yup!! I have to have a bathtub. 2 yrs ago my senior housing ripped out our tubs and put in large showers. I got a 60-75 gallon storage container at Lowes for $50 and they gave me half off if I opened a charge account. Then I went to the hardware store and bought a drain that can be turned open and closed( for abt $25. A man from church put the drain spout for me. . I love it!!! I am rather short but I just got out of the bath with the water up to my neck in my storage container tub!!!
@@mse7501 I am in good physical shape at 70. I can climb in and out of abt anything. If you were physically challenged the storage container bathtub probably wouldn't be good for some older people.
Yes. I've got 4.5 years on you. I had my bathtub taken out & had the step in almost removed. Grab bars installed. Removable flexible cord shower head. I have a little stool that sits in there, but I don't really need it yet. This old lady likes showers.
The Marinson Group has communities in various states representing Independent Seniors and separate part of the community for Assisted Living. In the Independent living apartments (Cumberland Village in Aiken, SC, but Marrison is out of Florida) part of the apartments have showers with no step up and wheelchair accessible. So, for those not needing assistance with ADL do have choices, although possibly not where you live. We had more residents moving BACK to South Carolina FROM FLorida, which is not what you would expect.
This one is a “La-de-da”. Just love the colors, Amanda. Makes me so proud to push ITH amongst my friends, they were thinking you’re all my relatives! Well, really you all are..good people. Sally , from WI!
I agree We got $160,000 pre-approved VA loan however The stipulations are ridiculous @ITH Amanda: Any ideas I sure would love it. They said has to be over 400 sqft no trailer on cement foundation. Permanently installed. And a double wide. 😩 Ugh IMHO not a way to treat Veterans . We did Our Time . *Not a Veteran but Hubby and 1st Son were. Currently Our 3rd Son is active 4 yrs now. Hospital Corpsman CPhT IV Tech Pharmacy Mgr of 5 Pharmacies. Plus does Doc. With Navy Recruits. Been Sailor of the Month twice, Sailor of the Quarter, up for Sailor of the year. Woo Hoo. Been Veteran Family since USN started.
@@his4evr2c Frustrating indeed, but think of the lender's liability if you were to default on payment A tiny home depreciates and is just not a stationary home that most mortgage lenders are looking for as collateral. I'm not unsympathetic as an older woman who is struggling to find affordable land and home. Best wishes to you.
@@his4evr2c - I wonder if 2 containers (an 8×20 and an 8x40 attached to it would be larger than 400 Sq ft) set and tied to a poured foundation to make a home, would work for the VA? Containers can be loaded on a flatbed truck or train car to move, and raised into place with a crane (or lowered off skids from a flatbed truck onto a concrete pad foundation). The trick would be only having one opening/doorway between the 2 containers, and placing a pitched roof on top after it's onsite.
My coffee table from Ashley Is like that I thought it Would be great but now We hate it I don't watch TV ,& Eat ,;& sleep in the same space The table isn't as practical as We thought it'd awfull l actually As a designer the scale of the Items used here is a off You need to seriously be wise To the sizes of things Hanging a bunch of FUNKY Things in a room when youonly have a room is not good judgement the deer with the Antlers cut e but too tiny
Amanda - You out did yourself on this model!!! It is absolutely beautiful. I think utilizing the skirting that Amanda found is the way to go for the 10x20 new community you all are planning to open up! I do love the idea that this Incred-I-Box is going to be a Model out on the "Sales Floor" for folks to visit. Getting different "looks" and "styles" of this model is going to be great for the website!!!! By the way, I love the table and the floor lamp...they are awesome!
Those tiny homes are 12 x 20 not 10 x 20 which is a Substantial Difference in a tiny home size and a Huge Difference in the expense of towing it anywhere.
@@michellelcinkel4380 I agree. It makes me a little craz-ee! I'm focused in information. I wish they would edit & offer the option of getting to the info. 🥴
@@michaelclark4357 Eight foot no permits reqd. in most states. Not much difference in cost between 10 and 12 wide. I would not use the word substantial. 12 wide over 10 really opens the home.
Great job Amanda decorating the tiny home!! I love 💕 it!! Their are still a lot of people that have “she sheds” this would also be a perfect sewing/craft place if you wanted an area other than your permanent home.
TGIF Guys, We are all brothers and Sisters in God's eyes! I love the look of this one! You keep giving so many great ideas for outside. I am interested in the water thing, because I have no water on my property yet! I am so excited and ready to build on to my incred-box; going too start building my porch/deck and gazebo next week 🙌 🤗 Amanda the inside is soooooo cute 😍 it.
Getting water from the air sounds like a dehumidifier, they make lots of noise with the fan and blower running. At least they did when I had water damage and they were brought in to dry things out, prevent mold. Wait, there was a blower machine, and the dehumidifier was separate
Amanda, I’m taking a few of your outside ideas for my brand new backyard that is starting to be made over this weekend. I love the idea of the chair and shelf with plants and the combination of real and artificial plants. We are putting in a 12 ft X 14 ft gazebo on the 18 X 24 patio. It would be fun to make an oasis like you did in the outside.
Hi everyone Ocala here, haven't even seen what you've done with the inside but the outside looks so darn cute!!!! Amanda I love your yard you couldn't have picked a better spot to show it off!! Have a wonderful weekend everyone 😉
Hello Amanda and Randi, I hope you remember me. I am the lady from Georgia that went to visit with my daughter. I am still dehydrating Kale...I finally found the land in North GA where I am going to put my Incredible Tiny Home. Just waiting for roads and utilities, still watching you both and learning a lot. Thank you for everything you do.
Oh my goodness!!! You both rock!! I absolutely love your decorations, Amanda. Your color choices are spot on. Thank you Randy for tweaking your design to accommodate even more people. I would love to see one set up as an office for one to three people. In addition to airbnb, an office park is something, I'm interested in.
Amanda, I love the color choices you made for this home! You mentioned a few shows ago that you "were over" the gray color scheme that's been so popular in recent years. Me, too!!!
What beautiful staging you did Amanda. Happy Memorial Day weekend. Randy you are a true visionary. You two are a great team, not to take away from the rest of your team. Love your company and all you do to build amazing and affordable homes . Much respect..... Jennifer.
Looks great ! but I think it would be nice to see some shelves above the kitchen counter set up with plates, cups, glasses etc to show how it can be used more practically....
I love how Amanda isn't worried about what she spent because it was from Randy's bank account! Lol The coffee table is a great idea for any smaller space. Multipurpose furniture is the best for small spaces.
I love❤ this one too, so many different colors n ways to decorate these tiny homes outside as well as inside. Your amazing Amanda ❤ love your style's of decorating it really helps those who are ready to purchase have ideas for decorating they're homes. 🏠 🏡 🏘️ ✌️❤️ 😊
On the beds - if you could make beds that lift up- the storage is underneath like what they have in RVs, you can maximize storage and it gives you the ability to put things on the sides of the bed and not have to worry about room to get the drawers open. I would purchase two of them for my own home!!
Randy, your excitement is infectious! The way you tell all the possibilities of what you can do to DIY the Incred-I-box. Amanda, Love your paint colors, and decorations of the exterior of this home! I was so in awe of your creativity surrounding the home, that I had a hard time focusing on Randy! Lol
These are so nice! They would be great for young adult kids who are just starting their careers and don't want to invest a lot of money into an expensive apartment. Love this idea!
Suggestion: I'd keep the A/C outlet "in" the loft (where it is in this video) rather than move it to the wall behind the shower. It looks better & easier to hide in the loft 😉. The plug & cord (of the A/C) will show too much if you move the outlet 😩. Amanda, the house looks beautiful👍👍!!!
Love the outdoor area at your home Amanda, it’s so lush and green. So many pretty areas to sit and relax. Great job on decorating the incredibox inside and outside, love that orange couch! Hope you and Randy have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Love you all at ITH!😊🙏❤️
This is really nice.! I could live in it for myself, too. I loved all the stories that you told them that Amanda about your great grandma and how your grandfather shared the land with his cousin so that they could have a home for their family. That's the way it should be that that's the way God intended things to be to help one another to love one another be good to one another. God bless you guys thank you for sharing everything that you share and I love a conversations at the two of you always have you always make me laugh. And I love to watch Ace.! He's just a hundred miles an hour all the time..! 🌞🌻🌼👏👏 😍💯🕊️👼🩸🙏 Amanda I love your decorating designs excellent job.!👏👏👏😍
Wow Amanda, you did such a great job of decorating 👏 😊 Randy, so appreciate how you take a wonderful design for a home & keep cranking up the design 👍 Anyhow, Randy, give Amanda a hug from me & Ace a dog bisque 👋
Randy and Amanda , I Love you both ! What can I say ? What great personalities ! Amanda you did a sweet job decorating this special place ! Only problem ? Didn't get to see Amanda , just a quick view in the mirror ! I love your natural smile Randy ! You can see I am a fan ! God protect you both ! Merry Christmas !
I've been watching you guys since the "get go" & use to watch every single video on a daily basis, though only once did I ever comment. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them, I'm just not one to comment; no particular reason, I just don't. About 6 months ago I had to stop watching to devote time to my father & his medical issues. Though they will be ongoing, at least we now know what we are dealing with & so today I got to start catching up on my ITH videos. I had forgotten how much happiness they brought to me! I love all the laughter & happiness that radiates from you both as you can tell this is so much more than just a job to you guys! Thank you & here's wishing you guys continued success. If anyone deserves it, it is Randy (w/ big time assistance from Amanda 😆) & ITH! P.S. I am constantly working on my husband re moving to TN & purchasing an ITH, come the day we get to move from Texas. Til then, keep up the awesome work ( I love The Grove concept), & save us a place! 😆
Thank you for show your fantastic small tiny home. Look up tank sinks. We made one and had used it in our 1/2 bath. If it was not a home in an upscale subdivision we would have taken the pedestal sink out. Those were originally designed to conserve water in California. It would be a fantastic option in a tiny house. Thank you again for producing this video.
Oh please don't mess up that wall by the sink by moving the outlet. It looks perfect the way it is. The outlet with a plug & cord sticking out of it when in use will look so messy & distracting & out of place. It is so clean looking right now. PLEASE reconsider this. Don't mess with perfection. ❤
@@chezmoi42, I know Randy doesn't read comments but sometimes he makes decisions to change things to make it easier to manufacture at the expense of beauty that is very important to buyers. I don't think this one is a wise trade off. That plug on the wall would bother me every single day.
Amanda , Your Tiny house is Beautiful ! I am always in awe what you can do with a small space ,I wish that I was that minimalist.Love you and Randy. You are giving people a chance to own their own home again than alot of people would not be able to afford.Thank You !
No one said they have to be uniform colors! If you're referring to the 12X20's, they are just going to paint the exterior for everyone so they will look finished right away when folks move in, and knowing Amanda, there will be a nice variety of colors. But I'm sure anyone who wants a different shade can get out there and roll it on once they're settled.
@@chezmoi42 if you listen, it sounds like they want all the exteriors to be uniform and the occupants can be creative with the interior. So like any HOA, there will be a limited range of acceptable colors. Some people like this, but HOA's are a nightmare for regular homeowners. You can never pay off your home because the HOA fees and rules are never ending.
@@recoveringsoul755 No, the point was that they want to homes to look finished right away, so they're not delivering them unpainted. Have you even looked at any of their other videos, and seen the variety and creativity displayed in the existing sections already? There will be a little less space to be creative in the new block's gardens, and yes, the privacy screens will be uniform, but that doesn't mean that they all have to look alike by any means. It sounds like you're looking for reasons to be upset in advance. That's no way to live your life if you want to be happy. My gran always said, 'Worrying is borrowing trouble that's not even yours.' 🤗
@@chezmoi42 yes I've seen other videos and read comments. Many people WANT there to be HOA but that would mean more cost and less freedom. Amanda and Randy have both said they want uniform looks, and weeds trimmed. I come from a neighborhood without that HOA stuff, and it's nice to talk about a house by its quirks and everyone knows which house you mean because there is only one pink house, or only one with gargoyles, only one with a whole garden in the front yard and so on.
@@recoveringsoul755 Of course they want the weeds trimmed. You just heard him say that he has hired someone to care for the common areas; it's common courtesy to keep your own yard tidy. I suppose anyone who can't do it on their own could ask for help from neighbors, but it seems silly to prefer an unkempt place just because you don't want to follow a few simple rules, like don't leave your trash out in the yard. And they already have a pink house, and one with a sunburst painted on it, and a shed with a beach mural on it, and lots of other personal touches. I really don't know what you're complaining about.
30 yrs ago we used that foam/brick board around a 24' x 58' manufactured home,. It was expensive but wow!!! It cut our winter electric bill like everything!!!
These are so cute. You fixed it up adorable. I long for "Home" so badly now. Never in my life would I have dreamed I would lose the acre I've been renting and living on for years... over my landlords zoning violations, which I was never told about. Ii would never have remted it, but who thinks to ask about that? The assumption is everything is legal when you rent it. I took being able to be there until I died, for granted. Rent is so high everywhere now, it's more than my pension. Luckily I have a tiny vintage camper, so I'll be living in it, on the road. I'm trying to look at it as an adventure, but it's a bit scary. I keep hoping I might be a winner! 💗
Wow! That turned out so awesome. Amanda, pat yourself on the back girl. My dad has some 200-year-old barn wood. It has that silver look. some big beams. He put half of it back together as the garage he has today. He has some to get rid of.
Oh my word! These poor people!!! or not in a home, they're living in a room. A room with living room, room, kitchen , bathroom, utility room mudroom , bedroom all-in-one. Yes that is incredible. And the amount of money that they pay for this is absolutely out of this world insane!
I love the stone. a temporary skirting is to put thick foam board up around with little time and then stucco and paint it!!! It works great unless you have chickens. They like to peck through it. But it works ( with out chickens) and it is so insulating!!
I think it's beautiful! I would love to see maybe a kitchen cupboard where the magnetic shelves are for more storage space, and a TV on the wall in the living room. It would be nice if a narrow dishwasher could be put under the countertop, and maybe a washer dryer combo somewhere. It the loft was just a little bit taller, would a mattress fit up there for extra sleeping space?
You can probably fit a good size murphy bed that looks like closet / office and maybe have it hid lden away & a small 2 seater couch their have a nice bachelor pad ! I like 👍 how u guys stage and hangout and chill in the home gives us a real visual u guys r awesome 👌
