Today I'm following in the footsteps of ‪@ChiCityPulls‬ and ‪@HitmanRips‬ and opening FIVE 2021-22 Panini Prizm NBA White Sparkle Packs. These ultra limited packs each cost around $450 and contain 3 cards, with no guaranteed rookies. This is a purely degenerate rip, let's see if we can top their Jalen Green RC pulls!

I get that it's a "1 of 1", but it's just crazy to me that a Kai Jones card would be going for $1k+. He's scored 22 points total in the NBA and can't even get on court in the pre-season for the Hornets (who are a bottom feeder team). He's going to be lucky to be in the league in 2-3 years.

So out of a 330 card set there is a total of 6,600 white sparkle prizms for the base cards, plus another 55 signed 1/1’s IF panini did that for all 55 rookies, bringing the total amount up to 6,655 assuming there isn’t any inserts inside of the white sparkle packs. So the total number of rookies white sparkle cards would be 1,155, meaning that IF panini spread them out evenly it’s a 1: 5.76190476… shot at getting a rookie inside of a white sparkle pack. A 1/1 would be a 1:121 chance. You got one base and one 1/1 in five total packs. Id say you did quite well, tho sadly still you didn’t make your money back. It was still fun tho

I think these are like the national packs though, you can't compare a 1/1 from this to a real 1/1 from a real set. It's still cool and going to be rare obviously but all cards in this set are rare. In fact they should just number the base cards. Every card should be numbered.

The M’s losing game 1 on a Yordan Alvarez walk off homer hurts, the M’s losing game 2 after another big homer from that damn Yordan Alvarez hurts, losing game 3 by a 1-0 score after a big time George Kirby start hurts, getting swept by those damn cheatin Astro’s and watching them celebrate on our home field hurts and I have felt sick to my stomach ever since game 3 ended and all. It hurts and all but at the end of the day the longest playoff drought in professional sports finally came to an end and not only did this team give us some exciting and iconic moments but they also did win a playoff series. This team is very young and practically everyone except 3-4 guys r under contract still and they still don’t have a big payroll and can go spend big in free agency. #M’s2023WorldSeries
