Agree 100% about needing the two best of 5's instead of a best of 9. They also have to get rid of the veto system. I understand it from the team's perspective. But, as a viewer...it is brutal to have to watch a best of five where the same map is used 3 or 4 times. They either need a much larger map pool or get rid of vetos and make teams play play whatever maps are randomly drawn.

Giving the team from winners an advantage or playing two Bo5s is not the best way to figure out the best team at the event. The veto advantage is the perfect amount of advantage for the winners bracket team, it’s still better to have it than to not have it, and it doesn’t put the losers bracket team at too much of a disadvantage. The goal is to see who’s the best at cod, not see who managed to get the most outside advantage… halo does two Bo5s and most of the time I could turn the stream off after winners finals because I pretty much knew the losers bracket team wasn’t winning two. More than 50% of the time the winners bracket team wins the whole event which is just not fun…. Idk. There’s a balance I think you guys are overlooking because you come from an era where the advantage was much more unbalanced and you just miss those times. Look at it without your own personal bias and I think you’ll see why Bo9s make sense
