My son loves watching you make RC cars and always wants to turn his $25 toys more realistic. I would love to see you do a rebuild with a $25 toy to see how much it would cost to rebuild instead of just starting from scratch. I would say some rules like same chassis and body, but change out electronics and maybe some light body customization. That would be awesome for the kids always dreaming about every car they see in the stores!
I bought one of these a couple months ago. My son, only 2 years old, loves both pushing them around and "driving" them. It's actually a pretty solid car. It's taken the abuse and still works well. I did end up painting it red, printing a roof rack, and a couple modifications. For the price point these are fun little cars. I do think you would enjoy modifying them! PS. BIG FAN
Hope you all enjoyed this video and it shows that you dont need to spend tons of money to enjoy the hobby. 👍 Please note in general we do not post links to products that we do not sell or businesses we are not associated with for a number of reasons. In this case however I will provide the Amazon link as it doesn't really have a name or is associated with a popular brand. If you want one here’s where you’ll find it: www.amazon.com/2-4GHz-Remote-Control-Vehicle-Batteries/dp/B08P3WT51N/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=1%2F24+rc+drift+car&qid=1614395735&sr=8-2
Mine says proportional speed but it's just one speed. No variety. Is it the same with the ones you purchased from hb toys because mine came in a different box in the U.K. From hb toys.
you 3d Print Robert wheels, but instead of circles, put spikes pointing out instead of the circles, so you can. Drive it on water. And cut small pieces of sponge and put it underneath the car so it will float.
I would say it's worth it to add some cheapo hobby grade electronics. +1 for customizing. The cheap finish and fake decals on these are what make them look cheap. Real paint would look great
I got it before watching the video and moded it but accidently broke its suspension and im searching how to put it back together but it is a great car (for its price)
