You and I are a lot alike. I'm an old school player. My wife enjoys the bells and whistles, which are nice sometime, but I prefer the older slots. Just like you I rarely bet the Max credit to preserve my bankroll. The way I look at it is if you Max bet and don't hit then you double your chances by only playing one credit. OSS has inspired me. I absolutely HATE slots but decided to try some at the casino this weekend. I decided that I wasn't going to waste my time with anything less than a $1 slots. I found the 'old school slots' and I DID see the $100 spin machine but said, 'Nope. Not going to even try that!' lol. I put $100 into the $1 machine instead and played $2 a roll. Lost the $100. lol. Made it back in blackjack and tried it again. Put in $40 and cashed out for $75. Went back later and lost another $40. I RARELY play slots.
