I loved those nice women sitting in the garden of the Soviet neighborhood, which was not so bad, who were so happy and full of joy, despite the amount of their pension. Really awesone people and also Zack was so kind. I think that Georgia could be a pleasant country to live in, as the cost of living is undoubtedely lower than in Europe, despite the traffic which is a little bit dangerous. Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video with us.

We have been to this neighborhood once and we understood that we came to a real locals' life. Crowds of people at metro, crazy drivers, low prices, everything was so "georgian", but also so familiar. We really like the fact that it is safe in the center as well as in the outskirts! Even if sometimes these kind of areas look a bit messy. Thanks for the great positive video as always guys!!

I really enjoyed this video! It was nice to see what life is like there on the outskirts of the city, and it's not too bad. Nice neighborhood, nice people, many markets, good food, and good transportation. Zack lives in a decent apartment . I know people in the states who live in worse conditions. And of course we have a growing homeless problem here. Capitalism has its downsides too. Looking forward to your next video about the richer part of Tblisi. One last thought. It's my hope that good-hearted Russians like you guys will run Russia someday. Those babushkas actually speak for the majority of people, because they want peace.

@@RussianPlus Thanks for your reply! I recently moved back to my hometown of Indiana, Pennsylvania, because rents for a small apartment in Phoenix, Arizona, went from $750 a month to over $1000 a month. I'm renting a place for $500 a month with utilities paid. I've been sending Zack $100 a month, because I really like this kid and his RU-vid channel. It's fortunate all you Russian vloggers are posting the beauty and goodness of Russia, because it helps the world to see you're not all a bunch of evil "commies," which is how the news media has been describing Russia for decades. It’s very common in the uk to put clothes to dry outside on washing lines (ropes) some people have some that are kind of like an umbrella but with line across the spokes. In my house we have a electric drier too, but when it’s nice enough they go outside. Yes, it’s true about us having not great weather in summer here. 🇬🇧🇺🇦

You are doing really well now that you have your own place at your age. You are finally getting the chance to feel more freedom than you were used to and experience more places and cultures and different things then you were able to back where you grew up. You have made big advances in your life and should be very proud of yourself with your current achievements. I understand how you want a quieter neighborhood, but don't jump too fast and make a mistake. Moving is a hard job once you have settled in! You have more things than most people at your age, and you dont want to go backwards, So, take your time, look around the area, and find a place you can be comfortable in that you can afford. The hard part is behind you now, and now it's time to slowly refine your life as to how you want to live out the rest of your life. When you get a little more income, you'll be able to travel more to like Romania, Bulgaria where it's not too expensive. ( i know how the Euro made visiting in Germany expensive for me. And im from USA!) , By the way, enjoyed the Dacha also!!!! As i grew up in a smaller town, but like the country life as i had lived the last 30 years! Best of luck!!!!

I found out about a place I have never been to ( I lived in Tehran, Iran for a while back in the late '60's lol), and that was interesting. It was interesting in the way you did it. Being creative pays off - keep growing. And I found out a lot about Zack. I know him from his channel - BUT YOU SHOWED A PERSONAL SIDE WE HAVE NOT SEEN BEFORE - and this was a big accomplishment of yours!! I like the way you interviewed all around and we met several different types of people and even saw how they lived. That is called ethnography and it is very effective. Look it up, study it maybe, expand on it, and grow in creatively growing your channel. Slava Slava. May peace and joy be yours in Christ Jesus.

I am an American that moved to the transitioning Soviet Union -Moscow - in 1991. I remember my studio apartment (no bedroom but kitchen and restroom) was $70 in Opexobo. I moved to a 1 Bedroom on Cholkovskaya Shosse and it was about $120. I had to renovate the 1 bedroom. I put in indoor/outdoor carpet and white wallpaper. It was all I could find. ALL RUSSIANS WERE IN SHOCK THAT I HAD WHITE WALLPAPER. I would definitely live in that apartment. It was great compared to mine. I was on television in Russia. I was safe in Moscow but when I traveled further away as an American, not so safe. Organized crime seemed to find me. However, I loved living in Russia and Kiev, Ukraine. I ALWAYS WANTED TO LIVE IN GEORGIA. Excellent video. I miss that part of the world very much. I liked Georgian food much better than Russian at the time. There was NO variety. All food was scarce in Russia during 1991-1993.

They just said ‘tac/k’ for yes, like many languages, I expected to say ‘da’ because you mentioned the dark soviet era. If they’re speaking their own language, I’m glad for them that they didn’t lose it 😀

1st grandma, I completely agree about war, let’s just be happy with what we have. Let people be free to come visit, then we can teach them what we have, our similarities and differences. I only just found your channel, I’m liking it, I do love to see different places and through a camera, meet new people.

Thinking about it I’ve taught a couple of Georgian children, I didn’t get to know them very well because they moved home within a few months, they’d found jobs here in England that fitted their skills, not just a job just so they were working and could pay bills. If you know what I mean, unfortunately, a lot of British people don’t have a good work ethic. I know someone who is 55, she hasn’t worked even one day! She only had one child so it wasn’t that she was working hard at home, no husband either to look after. There’s a word for people like her, lazy! Able to work but they won’t

I feel your pain 1st grandma…I stupidly married an American, I don’t like flying either, those 9 hour flights ugh 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ medically I’m not allowed to fly and I’m not with him now so my fee are on the ground. Sunny hot places for holidays? Nah I’ll stay where I am 😀 I can catch a train or ferry into France and we can get to a lot of Europe on land. But good people like you will take me around with you 😀 no pain necessary 🌸

I like the strawberry cake. In Vienna in the 50s you put a coin in the elevator and in the heater. Nice apartment.

Those green plums are also in Istanbul. They are sour, crunchy, hard & supposed to be eaten with salt. At the start of their season, they were small but into the summer, they became really bigger.
