For someone who opens a lot of boxes that are coveted you don’t seem to know much about basketball. You don’t know Anthony mason or how to pronounce byron Scott ? Sad.
I’m finding this is common with a lot of these youtubers who are doing videos on cards. It turns out most of them didn’t watch nba back in the day and you can tell when they butcher the names like “Hershey” hawkins instead of hersey hawkins or “Byron” Russell instead of bryon russell. And how did he just pronounce Dan majerle and rasheed Wallace? Geez. Nick van eckel? Wtf
These would have been a fun box to rip. Especially the mystery finest in every pack. I like the fact you would have to flip it over to see who it is. Anthony Mason was a beast dude
This are the packs that I used to cost $10 a pack I only bought 5 packs not at once but each time I went to the card shop but since they were expensive I just bought the packs that cost $2.50 or $3 I used to take that plastic 😅 😊
Watching this video brought back memories When I collected in the 90’s, I bought this box & I was lucky to pull a Jordan mystery refractor, I still have it. It’s my favorite card out of the small collection I have
I like the sound when you pull the cards apart 😆. And I like the fact they have the plastic coating. But there were so few worth protecting in this box lol. Usually you'll say something is off center and I can't see it but I could see them here.
I think we all learned a very important lesson here. Don’t buy one of these old boxes of awesome cards and break it. Sit on it and sell It for 10 times the price in 20 more years. I purchased that Jordan perfect center and likely a 10 on eBay for $20 today! It’s better time and money spent to pick cards off eBay at dirt cheap prices and have them graded. Still I love that people break these on RU-vid. Thank you for good video and butchering the shizat out of the names of the players. Pure comedy my dude.
I was in 6th grade when big dog, g hill and j kidd hit the league. B4 them was bird, magic, jordan, barkley and Shaq attack. The height of the nba will always be measured to me as when Shaquille was breaking them backboards for lsu and orlando. Griffey jr of the hardwood!
Magic is a base card. It was produced 6x more than every other card. The Webber/Rasheed is an insert called "Veteren/Rc. Mystery were either bronze, silver or gold
The Magic Johnson card was a last minute addition to the set and for some dumb reason they made it a different color. The Mystery Finest (OR ANY FINEST CARD WITH A PROTECTOR) you peel on an edge by the corner, not on the corner. Use your fingertip and not a nail. After 4 or 6 tries the peel will lift and THEN it can be peeled. NEVER START AT THE CORNERS...!!! NEVER...!!!
Other than rodman and pippen/pippen refractor, I think you got robbed. Topps finest is definitely making you pay. Too bad you just couldn't pick out your own box. You feel me. By the way you at least got your Jordan's and Grant Hill. Someone, somewhere is showing you some love. I mean, on you even ended up pulling the magic Johnson. However, I still think you could've gotten more for the money.
@@Justin_Time_Delivery yes it does say on the back who the player is but, it doesn't tell you if it's bronze, silver or gold. I had a Jerry Stackhouse Gold Card that's worth $120 raw right now!!
Dood were u born in like 1997 ur pronunciations on some of these players makes me cringe. dan majerle is pronounced MARLEY and Nick Van Exel is pronounced NICK VAN EX OL.
