That is one of the times where the box is worth the price after all these years. That Soto is an absolute beauty. There's just something about that card that looks like one of those generational cards. There's the 52 Mantle, the Griffey rookie, Trout rookie, and this joins the list for modern cards. It just looks great and to get a gold of it? Wow. I really hope that grades high.

830 soto whiting on the top definitely not a PSA 10 sweet pull tho!!!

I have opened 21 of these Jumbos from this set, I have a hookup on these at 15% below ebay market value through a friend. I have hit 3 golds of the 3 main guys, and I hit the fathers day blue Shohei. Huge hit, unfortunately it's on sale right now at Indy Card Exchange and it graded a psa 7 ($460 I believe). I have also pulled 3 of the rookies from the 1983 black parallels to /299. For some reason the parallels from this set are incredibly difficult to pull in mint condition. I have never had one be mint once I pulled it, but that Soto looked good to me based on my experience. I have had many psa 10s of the base stuff, it's just the colored parallels including gold that suffer from this. I pulled the 3 hr streak Shohei card last night (Another maddening rookie with no RC signifier), unfortunately it was once again chipped on an edge and had a soft corner.

I'm putting together a set of this Update. Down to the last 20 or so. Soto, Acuna, Ohtani, Gleyber, etc..... I think the set is going for around $200, which is insane for a set, especially Update. Will we ever see something that special again? Great video Jabs. Possibly the best.
