I humbly think you are getting better and better at transforming every home into special places to live. I love the kitchen, cabinets, backsplash and open design. The master bathroom with the bathtub and floor to ceiling tile, water closet, huge counter, etc., is amazing. The outdoors, with the zeroscape landscape, is beautifully thought out and inviting. This entire project is a home run!
W O W ! Love what you did to this home. Love all the natural light. Even the basement its bright. Love the landscaping . Best remodel outcome yet. I love your videos.
A perfect Muti-generational family home! I love the work you did, and really liked the landscaping and outside work too. Great touches on the living areas outside!
Congrats on this mega-venture! Kitchen: It's great that you saved the cabinets; the smart storage pantry looks so convenient; the tiling is a perfect choice. En suite bathroom: The curbless shower looks stunning, but I like a real enclosure that gets warm and steamy; same for the tub -- I wouldn't feel cozy being out in the open like that (although the tub itself is gorgeous beyond belief); smart reuse of kitchen drawers to correct the vanity proportions. Bonus space: Very clever to cover the posts with walls and the pipes with a bar (!). Landscaping: Thoughtful and eco-conscious to avoid large lawn areas.
Your design and renovation choices are always spot on. I’ve watched all your videos, and I don’t think I have ever not agreed with anything you have decided to do. Your video style is also very enjoyable to watch.
Absolutely stunning. My favorite style of house are these spacious California ranch houses. You kept that feel, quintessential California home. It’s airy, bright and lovely. Lucky family that got the home. I’m sure they will treasure it.
Cannot wait and as a British person, looking to invest in USA soon, cannot wait to do rehabs in multiple areas. Found a contractor who do not require 20% in bank nor have money upfront, all paid what you owe after works and when complete! Just need the initial cash now! I have a few deals and properties I like!
It is a lovely custom home. I love the kitchen flow now. Also the whole downstairs, which was unusable, is quite the surprise. The best thing I can say is I was going to guess you spent 900K on the remodel and landscaping.
Wow what price point do you need to get a pool in a high end custom in California? Beatiful out door space, love your concrete designs both front and back.
@@lamarrickerson24 Depends on what part of California but Here in Silicon Valley you can get a pool at any price point as long as you have the space which is very rare. A standard 20 x 40 pool for this house would’ve been over 100k and would’ve added almost no value. The only time you would want to add a swimming pool is if you’re doing a large hardscape. I’ve seen it done twice but these were houses that have sold for over 14 million. So I guess that’s the price point :-)
Beautiful Job Elisa!!! I love what you did to the outside! I love how you saved the kitchen cabinets, they look great! The only tiny change I would have like to seen was a more updated tub/shower in the basement that you saved--if nothing else an updated faucet and or tile for that bathtub, it still makes it look a little dated. Other than that it's great! It's a great example of how you can salvage some of the good bones of a home without making it look like it!
I am impressed by the amount of money, creativeness, and sophistication shown on this property. The consistent flooring, and natural light from the many windows are a bonus. The beige color on the walls are the perfect complement to the flooring. And let's not forget the fabulously executed kitchen, and marble tiled bathroom. I think overall, you out did yourself on this beautiful and expertly enhanced flip.
The interior looks beautiful, but I will say the things which would put me off. First, there is no entry or foyer, nowhere to put down your keys or handbag, you just walk straight into a vast space. You need an entry transition. Secondly, there is no street appeal, to me it does not look lush or welcoming. All that bare concrete which looks minimalist and clean now, but any buyer knows it will discolour and stain. But you know your market, perhaps these things are not a deterrent there, good luck with the sale 😁
You have an amazing vision, love the front transformation and patio. Just one thing I noticied when watching your video the image is flipped , so when yo say left its on the right of the screen. Maybe you can change the video in the backend to flip horizontally
Love the professional video, shows the real scale of the place and you can really appreciate what it looks like in actual than the usually elongated, distorted view of spaces when using the wide angles lenses in regulal house tours in this channel.
Thank you very much for sharing this! I love what you did with the house and how you explain everything you did in an easy way. Wish you all the best!!
Beautiful job on renovations. However, this is not farm house style, other than the wrought iron railing on the front porch. Very modern. Congratulations on the sale, I'm not surprised it sold so quickly.
Love it. The only thing that surprised me though was building a sink outside but no sink for the bar. The new owner will need to figure out what to do with all the bar's used dishes.
i've been watching your channel since the lockdowns and have loved every video you make. your proffesionalism, calm persona and BEAUTIFULL filps are a joy to watch and learn from. i wish you the best. thank you for inspiring me
Absolutely stellar project. Learning the cost breakdown on this project would be very informative. Did you need to run a gas line for the fire pit and outdoor grill? Was it difficult to retrofit a downdraft cooktop in the kitchen, did it require running new ventilation under the island?
Hi Elisa. It seems like this house would benefit from a bifolder door, which I assume you didn't use because of cost. I was wondering if you would happen to know where we could get one (bifolder door) that is title 24 compliant at reasonable price?
