Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! I wonder if they’ve been playing with their eyeshadow formula because some of their recent releases have lacked that unique sparkly finish I love so much. I’d hope they’d keep the formula the same for older shadows though. 😣 I wonder if you could contact them and ask for a replacement?
It depends...the chunkier ones (like DollFace), definitely need a sticky base or glitter glue to apply too and they last a bit longer during the day before fading. I like to apply most of my metallics wet, also, and that helps with longevity. All in all, however, I’d say the metallics wear the best, the Auroras are the trickiest (though again, depends on application). I hope that helps! Thank you for watching!
Looxi definitely had some gorgeous shades for an amazing price - like cookie dough. However, unfortunately I do not think that their website photos are accurate. I have not been impressed with nirvana, halo, get naked, and a few others… Their shifts are barely detectable in person, and are maybe a satin at best.
I don’t like to speak poorly of any brand, however, I’ve placed a few orders since filming this video and I wasn’t as impressed with those shadows as much as I was these. I felt like they didn’t swatch the way they appeared on the website and a few of them seemed to have a chunkier formula. I think they have some true gem shades, but I have to agree with you-the website swatches definitely misrepresent how they look in person.

Everything looks so magical, but I didn’t end up getting anything this time. I just ordered a few things last week actually (including a highlighter which will be my first time trying those!) so I think I’ll ponder her new releases and if they’re still on my mind by her next restock I’ll get a few.
