I run a Shorikai cedh deck with Manifold Key and Voltaic Key. Both can un-tap Shorikai, allowing me to do his ability 3 times per turn which draws me 3 cards not including my first draw of each turn. Pair this with something like a Spellbook which is a 0 CMC artifact that says your hand is infinite and you got all you need to win a game.

I've been having a lot of issues with Windfall. Like you said in this video I often slam a bunch of mana rocks and want a way to refill my hand...but the problem I'm running into with Windfall specifically is that there's a lot of times I have 1 piece of a combo in my hand while holding a Windfall. I'd be willing to shuffle that piece back into my deck like Timetwister does, but discarding the combo piece really just doesn't feel right. Almost all my games end with me comboing off, and though I do have ways to get things back from my graveyard...using Windfall to discard a piece feels like it would slow me down way too much, especially if I don't have Narset out and I'm also filling my opponent's hands. Okay, now if you'll excuse me...I need to go sell my car to get a Timetwister >.

What are your thoughts on The One Ring? I just added it to my high powered, but casual Urza build and it seems pretty busted to me...but I'm not in a cEDH environment so I have no idea how good it really is. Is it just a 'win more' card? I don't think Urza really needs the card...but it also seems incredibly strong here.

Combo it with Mind Over Matter which can synergize with the rest of the deck

Also, any reason you're running Voltaic Key over Manifold Key? In all the games I've played, I've yet to use Manifold Key's second ability...but even so, it's strictly better than Voltaic. I'm just wondering if it's a personal decision or something :).
@hunterjoverstreet
@hunterjoverstreet 7 месяцев назад
Manifold key cannot untap itself and if you have rings out you can infinitely untap things with voltaic

@@hunterjoverstreet Awesome, I appreciate the reply. Took me a minute to wrap my head around this...but doesn't it take a mana rock (artifact) that can produce at least 4 mana to go infinite with Voltaic + Rings? I don't think he's running any in this list. I very well may just not see it, I'm still trying to comprehend this lol...I'm not very bright!

@@twitchster77 mmmm you're right actually. I ran an everflowing challice combo with rings and key but I did need it to have four or I needed to have forsaken monument on the field to have it tap for one more

I'm playing a high powered, casual version of Urza...and the deck is just stupid silly lol. Especially in 1 vs 1 commander, the deck is very frustrating to play against. I'll eventually move to a list like the one shown in this video (besides Timetwister and Pendrell Vale I'm only 5 or 6 cards away from this list)...but for now I'm having a blast playing in a high powered casual group and playing a bunch of big dumb spells haha. Eldrazi (Ulamog and Kozilek), Memnarch, Mindslaver...I have a bunch of ways to go infinite on mana, and then I've got a TON of stupid things to do with the mana. I can gain control of everything my opponents own with Memnarch, infinitely gain control of everyone at the table's turns, deal infinite direct damage, gain infinite life, create infinite construct tokens each with infinite power and toughness...and I'm able to continuously shuffle my hand and graveyard back into my deck so I never deck myself. And on top of this...having all of the best counterspells in commander is just awesome! My counters are what annoy my friends the most haha. I always seem to have the counters I need to push through or to stop them from going off themselves. It's just a silly amount of fun lol. Of course I never get to do any of my fun wins because everyone just instantly concedes once I go infinite on mana...but even still, it's fun as heck knowing I have so many dumb combos in my deck. Sorry for the ramble. I'll eventually go into a traditional list like shown in this video, but dang I'm having fun just playing a ton of mana and a bunch of big dumb cards atm :D

I used to have the deck built the way you do and can confirm that you are playing it in the most FUN way possible (I miss the memnarch and eldrazi) . Over time, my opponents have been building more and more powerful things so I was forced to build it like this.
