Basically this is just a small luxury cruise liner. Absolutely amazing. As a kid my dad designed and built yachts. I’d go with him to work and go aboard huge yachts during sea trials. Was the time of my life as a kid.

Needs a complete update...bet they were trying to see if would sell first..pretty regularly these mega yachts seem to go through a gut and redo..it is time. Though the structure and amenities are good. Sauna/steam shower/ Hamas?
From the outside it looked spectacular. However, in regards to the interior, all I can say is you got to be kidding. You people took a humongous lovely boat like that and that's what you did for the interior? No wonder added that soundtrack for the presentation. I'm not trying to be malicious, just keeping it real.
I agree. That's the level of bad taste you'd expect from some African warlord... and maybe that's exactly who owns that boat. Clearly 300 million can by you a lot of stuff, but taste ain't one of 'em...

in my opinion.. the exterior and the design of the vessel is outstanding... that said, the interior killed it, absolutely ugly from the moment the video showed the inside... that tree, wtf were they thinking .. wished they'd have shown the engine room & galley... and i definitely wouldve chosen a dif song ... id rate thise "4 out of 10"
I disagree about the interior. I've seem lots of yachts featuring modern-looking finishings. I like that the interior finishings in this one looks antique.
I don't like how the outside areas (all three levels) near the front bow are completely closed off. How else can one truly appreciate being outside the boat? Those would've been the best areas for that, especially when lined up with sun pads and other forms of seating.
The exterior of the yacht is very sleek and attractive. However, the interior is just downright hideous. The only thing that I find worse than having bad taste, is having the money to display it! 🙄
Imagine being in the 21st century and your "exlusive interior" view of a $300 mil yacht is in 720p and most of it is a photo slideshow. Then imagine you screwed up your video so much you added 3 minutes of crap at the end to break that 10 minute mark.

It was not 300 M USD. It was about 160 M USD. Beautiful boat but looks like a gaudy palace in parts inside. On the subject of the music accompanying this video; if you want to get people to watch your videos through then mellow it down.

When you own a home and furnish with Versace-esque/Trump gold +...OK...but a ship of sea should be as elegant as a wave, a dolphin, a sea breeze....leave the heavy European encrusted coated crap on land please!
First it belonged to some Russian oligarch, but was bought by the Al Saud family. Yacht was given to Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as a compensation for his removal from the position of heir to the throne. Currently, the heir to the throne in Saudi Arabia is Mohammed bin Salman (MBS has another beautiful yacht SERENE).
This was supposed to be exclusive interior and I saw more of the outside than the inside. Please do some accuracy in your description of title so as to not waste the viewers time. The interior of what I did see was so dated, not neutral at all. This yacht needs a big over hall in decor.
I agree with others here - that was hideous. It can't decide if it's Deco, Nouveau, or simply Sleazy-Hotel-Lobby. The only nice area was the marble bath IMO.
The decor is puzzling. Why spend a fortune on interiors where most guests would feel ill at ease? Others would find it a laughing stock. Always best to hire professional interior designers when spending big bucks.
When a Mega Yacht like this is built, they always use interior designers. Also most guests that this type of owner will socialise with, will also be Mega rich and love this type of decor.
An overdone display of wealth, “ look at me, look at all my money” that’s fine, a boat like this keeps a lot of families in work. I find it vulgar though, if I had that sort of money I’d spend it on toilets for the poor in third world countries. Now that is really something to aim for. Next potable water for the poor, then cheap coal powered electricity.
Yikes, the interior design reminds me of ethnic wedding reception halls I used to play music in, back in the '70s and '80s. Glitz & bling on steroids, calculated to awe the common people, devoid of taste. :^(
Judging from the complaints about the music, I was expecting some awful RU-vid royalty-free "muzak" but it's actually not that bad at all. Probably it's a bit too sophisticated for most people who've commented on it. However, I do agree with almost everyone else's comments on the interior - for such a sleek and beautiful yacht on the outside (and it really is), the interior furnishings simply don't do it justice. Each to their own, but it was a wasted opportunity for the owner to try and showcase their thoroughly modern super-yacht with such pompous Rococo-style furniture and gaudy decoration (that golden tree in the stairwell...shudder). Still, Solandge is a magnificient yacht and I bet it actually looks a lot better on the inside in reality than it does in the photos.
