Little tip, if I'm correct and you're filming some segments on a newer iPhone, go into settings and under record video there should be an option called "auto fps" or somesuch. Disable that, if I'm right it's what is causing the frame drops when filming in the dark/dim lighting - seen it in one or two of your previous videos and I only just now remembered to comment on it. That aside, keep it up lads, love your vids :)))
That clip is actually from our sony fx30, so if you know how to fix that let me know cause its annoying as hell and we don't know shit about cameras. Seems to do that on all sony cameras.

I actually would prefer Tyler's stand. Partly because I've seen sketchier stands that still worked awesome, and partly because since it's just add-ons to an existing tree the deer might not notice and be wary of the change as opposed to a whole new construction. Of course this is coming from the guy who used to live in a state where the woods were so dense that your "deer stand" was a folding chair at the base of a tree near a trail and your best chance of getting a deer was not getting audibly spooked when one appeared from behind the tree next to you.
I was thinking about going deer hunting tomorrow morning while I was at work, and seeing this video posted gave me the push to follow through. Great stuff as always. EDIT: I actually got one that morning, first one since I was a teenager.
Tyler's stand gets my vote. I'll never forget hunting with my dad at 11 years old and getting into a similar stand with him. That was the first season I saw a deer being harvested (by him), and getting to learn how to butcher and process the deer so our family could enjoy. That said, the best experience was the climb into the stand, haha! Wrap around this tree trunk... shimmy... pull yourself up... BINGO! My dad had a hell of a time getting his ass up there ;)

Kept meaning to say it on the last video but forgot to. Tyler if you get another deer a really easy way to get it out rather than fireman carrying it out is to cut a hole through its front legs and thread a rope through em and drag it head firdt (so the fur doesnt catch the ground and create drag) or you can tie it to the antlers if its a buck. An even easier way is to use a wagon or sled (tarp can be made into a makeshift sled) it also would make way easier to carry out if you field dress it right then and there just have one of the guys hold the deer steady on its back since you have them or if youre solo put it between two logs or rocks to keep it from rolling over
