Suggestion, instead of contemplating which order to put them in, how about in the order of what you think may be the lightest first to the heaviest (beastmode) last. I would think you may become nose blind if trying a lite fragrance right after a heavy fragrance. Another order that would be interesting is start with the middle price to set a bar, than go from cheapest to most expensive.
@reptilesgamers00 like he said, it's more tobacco, spices, and fruits off the top. As it starts drying down the vanilla becomes more prominent but the tobacco never goes away.
Just sprayed it on to refresh myself. Yeah, tobacco and spices dominate the opening. The vanilla that is there reminds me of vanilla extract, but not in a bad way. Reminds me of vanilla I got in Mexico. But the spices and tobacco are definitely the stars of the opening with vanilla just underneath it, supporting it. Freaking gorgeous.
U are a Saint of a reviewer. I also bought and ordered some fragrances over 6 bottles from Fragrancebuy. Majority of them are clones. I also bought Jimmy choo Ice and Hummer Chrome from a box store on sale today. I think ill take a break at the end of December from collecting lol.
Love the clone videos but a bit of feedback, I wouldn’t put the emoji drawings for the notes and description of the fragrance. It lowers the production and makes it cheapish
Love the clone videos… I feel like a while back you mention Royal Imperial by Anfar London in a similar video but now I can’t find that one 😅 would love more details on that clone…
@stutru Anfar Royal Imperial London is not my favorite. I've had it close to a year now and i give it two thumbs down. It is definitely not mass appealing. I've worn it 4-5 times. Everyone says it smells like "Raid" roach 🪳 spray each time I wear it!! 🤢🤮 I am not a fan!! It does last forever though.
The real value of the perfume in a typical bottle of budget fragrance can be as low as 3% of the final cost. Far more money is spent on marketing, packaging and advertising than on producing the perfume. The biggest factor driving the industry is the profit margin, which can be as much as 95%.
Have given up on clones. Not that ive escaped the rabbit hole. Ive actually fallen deeper into it. Designer and niche rule the day. Latest purchases, layton and oud for greatness at sale prices but still not cheap. My nose😊 my wallet 😩
I am thinking of blind buying layout for winters. I'm 18. Like vanilla and spices. How is the performance and how does it smell? I am thinking of pulling the trigger.
Thanks for the videos and info.. But, honestly, you make these frags more expensive when you do these vid's. For example.. Look at the prices of Fomo Parfums Gary's Den and the Grand Soir clone.. The prices are now crazy!
Am I the only one that thinks tobacco touch smells like a sweeter less aggressive Hobby Lobby? Or a bowl of potpourri? It's not bad. That's just all I get from it.
I thoroughly enjoy these videos. I'm still buying the original, whether designer or niche. Consequently, I've begun purchasing some clones to help fortify my collection and slow down my spending.
Yeah I always got the originals because my wife worked for Tom Ford and also Bond number 9 so I was pretty spoiled when she left those jobs I was still purchasing those same type of fragrances and it was killing me financially when I got introduced to clones especially the great ones the ones you can't tell I never looked back!! I'll never spend money like that again if I can get something of or close to value for fraction of the cost I'm not a millionaire and even if I was I still can find better ways to spend my money
The world is on the brink of nuclear ☢️ WWIII And here we are looking to stockpile more fragrances instead of food and water. At least I can eat tester strips and drink all my fragrances starting with the clones 😂
Thanks Ash for putting things fragrances on skin. That makes all the differences. The paper samples don't really give me the true scents. I so appreciate your work.
YES I have Shagahf Oud Azraq as well and its incredible! They have some upcoming releases too that Neeb(Aromatix) saw at the Beauty World Dubai show. Shagahf Oud Tonka, Oud Royale, and Oud Elixir. Super hyped to get my nose on those.
Yes let it sitmaybe 1 month.,,definitely the smell well change..i have bright peach and JL immortal clone of LV…first spray i got serious headeache by the smell…but i let it sit for more than 1 month…now it smell amazing and no headache..
Sometimes I womder why people even bother using tester strips when it always smells way different on skin, which is what you will be wearing the frangrance on in the first place.
Out of these I have Ebhar and it is killer. Basically smells identical to mercedes benz club black, but less smokey smell and more sweet fruitier smell
Hi Ash, Rasasi Qasamat Ebhar smells like Mercedes Benz Black Club and also try Rasasi Qasamat Rasana which smells like Aventus Cologne /Aventus for her. All perfumes from Qasamat line have extreme sillage and lasting. Thanks.
I got both the hyped Afnan Turathi Blue and Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe L'Immortal recently and... Lets go with "they are not for me". Sure, in some fashion the notes that are advertised are in there, but after the opening both are major disappointments to me. They leave a distinct artificial smell of warm and smooth amber, with only minimal remnants of spice or woods. Perhaps I can give other scents from these houses a shot, but for now I am sceptical about their reputation.
I just picked up the Armaf "Space Age" .... its not too bad but I decided to let it sit for a bit. From what the bottle looks like, it kinda reminds me of Byredo x Travis Scott "Space Rage"
Star Nebula smells awful. I just got 3 bottles because I smelled it from my co worker. Did anyone else get bad batch or let it macerate for a bit and get better ? Cause man that Pure Malt smell is needed 🔥
@@santanarodriguez881 I bought Imperium and I love it for what it is. I bought one and have 2 backup bottles. Imperium is a "freshie" and citrus based fragrance, supported by vetiver, it was not supposed to be long lasting, even the original Roja Dove Elysium has moderate longevity 3-5 hours. It depends on the skin too. People with dry skin are colognes/ perfume killers. Oily or well moisturized skin have great scent retention, thus better perfume longevity.
Shaghaf Oud Azraq Is a banger! It has a proper Middle Eastern Oud smell to it which lasts 30-40 mins that can be tricky for people who aren't not used to that kind of oud. But the dry down is this most stunning honey/vanilla combo. It smells way more expensive than it is
Can you explain us the difference between Al Haramain Amber Oud Blue Edition and Amber Oud Exclusif Blue, because it looks like different brands but if you check their ingredients are the same. 🤔
Unfortunately, none of these fragrances are appealing to me. *I deslike vanilla* very much and sweet fragrances are OVERHYPED and ubiquitous. Why people insist in smell like desserts? I never complimented a sweet-frag person, I just can't. Sauvage? Sauvage clone? Ugh!...
You gotta quit, Ash. I get "giddy" watching you get "giddy", and then as a surprise to NO ONE (especially my wife)..... I'm flipping the laptop open, scouring through the discounters, whipping out the debit card,........ and feeling CRUSHED when the wife starts giving me that look. 👃😎👃
