I'm so sad we don't get this in Sephora UK. The 'Sephora Favourites' sets were what I was looking forward to most when I heard we were getting Sephora, but sadly our Sephora is just a franchise name, and not the real thing 😢. These sets are amazing value!
Same in sephora Italy lol oh im so pissed we are missing A LOT of brands and that is so funny cuz a ton of cosmetics are made in italy and despite that we get like one of these sets a year if lucky while from my understanding sephora USA gets them for every major sale or holiday. Not to even mention how cheap they are while that set here would be at least 80€. Its so unfair lmaooooo Rare beauty is made in italy and you'd think the products would be cheaper here bc of a cut in shipping fees? HELL NO the rare beauty blush is 22$ in USA (so w shipping fees) and that would be 20€ if you convert it. Damn cheap. Well guess how much that same blush costs in sephora italy? 26,50€. THATS CRAZY. im so pissed at sephora europe really.

@@erikac6329 she made a video saying she wants to try James Charles (and other people’s) makeup and she was asking her fans their opinions and what they thought about that- a lot of people said she was supporting a predator. (I think if she wanted to try his makeup that’s fine whatever, if she wants to support him that’s gross but ok just do it don’t ask your fans opinions you don’t want it that’s just where I stop supporting ) when there was backlash which of course there would be ... she made a couple tasteless videos one stating that “WOULDNT THAT BE THE ULTIMATE COME BACK FOR JAMES??? IF HIS PALETTE WAS GOOD? As if good quality make up gives you the green light to take advantage of and send buses to your young fans (James Charles) . Scary. And that’s the straw the broke the camels back and made me want to comment.

You were one of my absolute favorite makeup creators and I was really trying to hear you out but your rebuttal of “if James makeup is good it would be the ultimate redemption” ... for trying to hook up with minors!? and sending them inappropriate pictures? You really said that with your full chest. Why?! didn’t you rewatch that video?!!! You didn’t realize what you said? That was wild.
So true ..not gonna lie.... she lost weight and she's losing her mind or something.....smh typical...now she wants the controversy which equals more money....I tell people all the time just go in the store and play with the makeup yourself or ask the BA...

I got a really nice Sephora favorites for a summer one year, I loved it. It came with a Tower 28 bronzer and at that time I didn’t even know what Tower 28 was. It also came with a full size REM beauty primer, though it was way too silicone-y for me, it was still cool to get such a sought after product for such a good price. The highlighter was actually too dark for me, which made me smile because I thought maybe it would work well on darker skin tones and I appreciated that.
My only problem with these kits is that they don’t work for medium to dark skin tones. The shades are always way too ashy and gray looking on us and I feel like if Sephora launched shade options in this kits (like a light, medium and dark kit) it would be much more inclusive.
These kits are usually a 60/20/20 split between shades that are exclusively designed for lighter skin tone shades, shades for darker skin tones and products that work for both (usually, sheer products like the Tarte product). It's still worth it if you have darker skin but you won't get the same value as someone with lighter skin, IMO. I got the Charlotte Tillbury _Very Victoria_ lipstick in one of them and it was the only lip product I used from the kit besides the lip balm. It is now my favourite nude. I want to try _Pillow Talk (medium)_ too and this seems the most cost effective. This is probably sold out, already 💀
I've been influenced. I just got it lol. Mine came with the glowy balm from laneige too though and didnt have the Glossier one. It was a Kohls exclusive.
Something about how beauty reviewers describe "good for deeper skin tones" annoys me. I am light medium and pillow talk original is pasty as hell. This medium one is okay...its about saturation rather than "deep" or "light" skin tones Frustrating for people that just have clashing tones. I bought this set and although a good value. Note that the humble lipstick is unwearable for me.
I am always baffled how good sephora is in the states and canada. In germany sephora is so bad. They don't offer value packs and most items in their 18 stores are always sold out or don't restock.
