You might want to try the white adhesive foam sold to put on the bridge of eye glasses to serve as landing pads. They might match the color and are easily replaced if wear and tear from a not soft landing surface occurs.

I took mine out the other day for a test flight and the battery got low and it tried to land right where it was. Return to home wouldn’t save me lol I ended up landing in a beanfield and having to use my Mavic air 2 to find it later lol. I love this drone it’s very cool looking and fun to fly but I also have issues with the video lag , controller losing connection etc. the manual instructions on the return to home function is a bit confusing. I’m just glad when I test these things out I do it in an open area that I’m familiar with because otherwise who knows what I would of landed on lol. I also struggled with orientation when trying to bring it back because of the camera being almost 360. I pulled the stick back toward me and it went forward so I thought if I push it forward it would come back, but it didn’t lol could just be because the way the drone is or just how sometimes it’s hard to tell which direction it’s going by line of sight. Either way I’m ready for test flight #2 but I’m trying to get more comfortable first. I fly my other drones a lot more so I need to spend more time on this one.
Thanks for this brother. I got the same deal. I was about to send mine back until I saw this. I can get about 30 meters away and the “controller lost connection” warning starts. Of course I got ticked off immediately. Flew it again today and the same alarm 😡.
Great. I tried to catch the sale at B&H, they were all gone. But 4Kforless same price, free shipping and no tax. Great deal. I finally got out to fly this, man is the radio heavy when holding for like 10 minutes. I also just wanted the Egg to add to my collection, can't beat the price.
That’s a cool NOVELTY drone. It’s worth the $350 you paid for it. However, if all you wanted was an EGG DRONE then you should have bought the JJRC H66 Christmas Egg Quadcopter for $20. Thus saving $330.
Any ideas where I can find one for a similar price in the UK or if there’s any left in the US at the $350 price? They’re all £899 GBP upwards on the uk sites.

I bought a used one and the gimbal motor is making a little noise. Does the base station charging indicator blink while charging? Sometimes blinking indicates a problem.
thanks video. I have a few questions. 1. My flight records can't be made. My flight records folder is always empty. Why is that? 2. There is no gimbal roll adjustment or automatic gimbal calibration, it's just like a formal menu, 3. All the batteries I bought are defective, isn't your battery defective?

Looks cool but I sent it back. Had a flight and in 9 minutes it said returning home. Didnt think to check the battery level since I was hovering right above me. So I cancelled rth and went out 300 meters. Then in amstarted auto landing, I looked and the battery said 40 percent. Even though there was a problem and the battery was draining fast, it shouldn't have tried to auto land until 18 percent. Well. She went down. Jumped in the truck and went to find it. Found it by a tree. Scratched props but nothing wrong. Bhphoto refunded me. Fun while it lasted.

just like you I have been curious about this quad since it was released, but refused to pay full price.. I caught the $350 sale, I had a successful maiden flight, tried to fly the next day, and the egg and the base station lost pairing.. I tried for a whole day to get them paired without any luck.. sadly I had to send it back to B&H.. I asked for a exchange, but I see that it's on backorder, so I might be shit out of luck..
Damn!!! How bad is the damage is it still flyable? B&H didn't have a replacement for me, so I ordered from another vendor for $399, I just maiden, and it flew great..
@@WilliamHorsley1962 It was pretty big and I had a battery issue. Support was fantastic, but there are a lot of connections and it isn't very portable. Like I said...I thought about keeping it for a collector's item. I still might buy another one. It is not an every day drone though.
