New Lifan 125 12V is installed and running decent. In this episode I finish the 12V lighting for the bike and give it a night time test run.
More to come. Still need to jet the bike properly, figure out the foot peg/stand situation and then disassemble for paint or powder coating. Also have some new and old projects in the pipeline so stay tuned!!

Did you add turn signals because your state requires them or just for safety. I live in Georgia. There turn signals were not required until 1973 or 1974. My 1970 CT70 does not have to have them.

Yeah, I’ll need to eventually get this CT70 road worthy certified by a dealer in order to get it road titled/licensed. I need all the lighting to do that. It doesn’t currently have a title so I’ll need to get all that done at some point.

Here you go. I’ve seen similar if not the very same ones on different sites. Amazon seemed to be one of the better prices. www.amazon.com/dp/B07X83DZTY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_t1_DKHBX9FTQFVV6XSQGGR5

How much you spent for the build?

Total project cost so far is $1187.25 not including the work/parts on the old motor. I’ll add the old motor costs to a future project.
