I stayed there for our business conference 2 years ago.. enjoyed it! The gym, the buffet breakfast and cocktails.

Finally a video that talks about hotel suite and amenities that come with it......instead of people stuffing their faces in front of the buffet spread. I've stayed there many times but not in their suite. Can you do something with the Makati Shangri-la suites too in the future? Thanks and keep up the good work.

For around USD400, you can stay in the top brand luxurious hotels in KL either Ritz Carlton, St Regis, Four Seasons. Of course, for way below USD400, you can stay at some of the affordable 5 star hotels, like you did in Shangri La and Traders Hotel in KL prime district.

New World Makati served as my quarantine hotel coming from abroad during the pandemic. Stayed there for almost a week. One of the best things I experienced!

Glad to know you enjoyed your 'little oasis' in the middle of Makati skyline. New World Hotel has significantly refurbished and redecorated and the ambiance vastly improved and leveled up compared to the earlier days when the hotel has had its inaugural opening. Our family staycation in the same hotel then was nevertheless enjoyable and hassle free.

We stayed at this great hotel at Christmas 2019, just before the pandemic. My wife is Spanish but her father was born in Manila and she always wanted to know her origins. It was a wonderful trip to Manila, Bohol, and Cauayan (El Nido). For the Spanish, the Philippines has always been a reference point

Please remind viewers that you either booked the residence club or a suite to access the business lounge in New World Hotel. The standard and deluxe rooms won't give you access to the lounge. If you can afford it, its worth the $350-$400 pn rate.

the srhimp is chinese taste its almond shrimp its popular in chinese restaurant in the states. i know they put sugar in spaghetti to make it a little sweet but filipino food are not sweet.

Next time Danny pls wear a nice, semi formal or formal attire everytime u go in Makati and BGC inside establishments. Outside it is ok to wear tshirt , shorts but not inside hotels, restaurants etc. bec those places are for middle class and ultra rich so u shld observe proper attire and it’s a sign of respect also to both foreign and locals.

I wear shorts most of the time even in Shangri-La, Okada, Solaire and most hotels in the Visayas & Mindanao unless it’s a formal function which Iam invited.
