Why would uou fill in a natural pond. I wish i had the money. Id buy it and not alter it.

it's not really a natural pond. the part that can be filled in was man made to make it bigger. To fill it in you have to just add dirt. I wouldn't alter it much.... just section it off so one part is a wetland self filter for the rest of the pond. Have the water pump back up from the back to the front so when it's not raining the pond it always fresh and clean.

I get that it's a good price for the area, but it still seems like there is a lot to do there. It's mostly cosmetic, sure, but it adds up, especially when you consider trying to fill in that pond in places. If this was maybe $250k, then I could see myself being more interested. Still a pretty property and a great video as always.

Whom ever ends up buying this property will definitely have to sink more money into it. The main house is not what most people are looking for. The pond does not necessarily need to be filled in. There is still plenty of land on the property to build on.

@@RealEstateInCostaRica It is an interesting property for sure. Having additional space to build on is nice, but the way the property is laid out, it will be interesting to see what an architect or structural engineer would say as to what percentage of the remaining land you can actually build on. I imagine that you'll need certain setbacks from the pond and all that. You'll also need to probably add another septic tank too...There's a lot to consider since the pond isn't conveniently off to the side and there are already existing structures and a pool. Pretty place though.

Love the property but if I bought that, the first thing I'd do is level that "main" house. It's pretty awful. Hopefully, it's still there in March because for that price it's definitely doable in regards to leveling that house
