Just compared them again and the difference is pretty apparent unfortunately. The overall clarity improvement is better on the DC-Elite. There might be slightly more bass on the DC07Pro, but the DC-Elite’s bass is faster and has more texture.

Thanks. Unfortunately it’s impossible to quantify the improvement. It will depend on the whole signal chain from music source to headphones. Sometimes maybe there isn’t any improvement at all too. But the most important thing is that you’re enjoying your equipment. If you really want to try it, you can always get them from somewhere with a good return policy.
I’m a proud and happy owner of the DC Elite and previous owner of the Go Bar. IMO, Go Bar was unusable with iems do to very audible hiss - totally unacceptable, as most dongle users listen with high efficiency iems. DC Elite is not only more transparent and resolving but also dead quiet.

I bought hd660s2 this time, and I bought ifi's go bar kensei even though I don't know much about it to run monitor headphones on iPhones and iPads. I'm not sure if go bar kensei is the right choice for me as someone who plays music and learns pa engineer. One comment in the Korean headphone community says dcelite is also good, which choice would work for me? It just so happens that I also purchased hd660s2 and kensei within the last week and your review was quite interesting
But honestly, I bought an expensive DAC for the first time and what I feel is that hd660s2 has an impedance of 300 ohms, so I bought an output like a DAC, but after experiencing it, I didn't feel the better sound of the improvement of sampling, and with this money, I would rather buy an Apple headphone transformation gender and buy another IEM
I think the Kensei will be the better option if you plan to drive the HD660s2 with it. It has more power and gives you more headroom than the DC-Elite. What did you compare the sound to? Sometimes improvements are really minimal when upgrading to another DAC.

the A in DAC stands for analog, no analog singal is perfect. yes we can get similar performance from dacs 1/10 the price, but "100% transparent" is probably not the way to put it.
My old skol Q5S TC will kick both of the dacAmp a.. in 1 rounds fightin' 2..my cutes modular that extincted yup of course Titanium will wins in flyin' colours..ha4 . noobs Peace!
