RU-vidrs need to stop comparing prices to western countries. $480.00 for that apartment is expensive for the area. By continuing to overpay, the price continues to go up.
That's your opinion and thanks for sharing it. People can make their own choice. Of course prices are cheaper if you sign a longer term contract. We think this was a very good price. Looks like we disagree and that's OK. :-)
I was just in Danang and paid 6 million for a month on the top floor suite with laundry on top, big bed and balcony. 10 million is far too much. 6-7 million on can find the same apt.
@@AlwaysonaJourney He's right. I was just in Danang and paid 6 million for a month on the top floor suite with laundry on top, big bed and balcony. 10 million is far too much. 6-7 million on can find the same apt.
@@ktowniecity7269 It would be great if you could share more information. How did you find the place and do you have any contact details? We found this apartment on Airbnb. What would you suggest for anyone else looking for a place to stay for one month?
Been to H Suites to visit a friend. Very nice place in a quiet area. Her accommodation was slightly smaller (studio like) and it was 420$/ month For the people who mentioned that it is pricey … guess what, my studio in Taiyo hotel will be 850 USD a month. Pricey? Sure, but some of us like the little ‘extra’ Not here to be stingy and live in a hole in the wall.
I think it's a good price. Of course there are cheaper places. For me, they look worn, dated and just don't feel as comfortable and cozy. H Suites is a lovely place and I'd happily stay there again for that price.
Im in Da Nang now. Its like a quieter version of Miami. Looks like Rio De Janiero with the mountain. The weather is quite nice for westerners. I do see locals wearing Northface jackets at night cause they consider it too cold.
Great video..the camera you use was poppin ..very bright colors..voice was excellent....your a great showman..keep up your good work..life will take you far!!!
Hi guys, I am new to your channel and am really enjoying your videos - excellent presentations in your videos - your other video showing the different area of Da Nang was great and- your coffee opinions were great, the egg coffee is on my radar now and your detailed review of menus was very interesting, I can see you enjoy your travels - take care - Patrick
@@AlwaysonaJourney Hi Andrew, Jerry - thank-you for the kind reply, I am from London, ex-pat 20 plus years and enjoying it, I,m currently in Samui but flying to Da Nang on Saturday, I,ll try the coffees !!!!! and will have a few beers in your honour !!!!! your videos are excellent - take care Patrick
Thanks mate I was just looking at this condo. Thinking about popping out to Da Nang soon. Looks lovely. Looks like a quieter version of Phuket. My kind of vibe to be honest. You basically talked about all the things I care about. How comfy is the bed, how noisy is it, whats the nearest coffee shop like. Wait.. I don't think you tested the shower! Or maybe I skipped that bit.
I stayed there as well. No complaints about the shower, as western and with as good of pressure as they come. I'm watching the video now, so I don't know if the vlogger talked about it. But man, some of those neighbors LOVE their karaoke. But there's nothing you can do about it, it's Vietnam! Aside from that, quiet, loved the area. Chill cafes all around.
Ah, nevermind. I stayed at their sister H Hotel & suites by the riverside. I wondered what this location was like though. Looks very similar. The one by the river seems slightly newer of a build though.
I’m from the States originally but lived in the UK for 30 years. Now ‘no fixed abode’! Just spending time travelling to places we enjoy or places we want to explore next! Your blogs really help us plan and get excited for our Asia travels 😀
@@lisawalton4667 Amazing and very exciting. Thank you for watching our videos. It's always good to hear they are helpful. I have to Lisa, I don't miss British weather. ;-)
Hello, I enjoyed your video! I have a question: for a solo stay in Da Nang in January, where would you recommend? I plan to be there for two months, focusing on training, enjoying good food, reading books, having drinks, meeting people, and mainly relaxing. Thank you for your suggestions!

I have watched several similar videos but when I looked at the visa opportunities, I realized that the only foreigners who would be in the market for an apartment or house would the the few who have a job or a skill that locals did not have. That is likely rare now. So the most likely seekers of housing are in fact the RU-vidrs who walk visit these apartments and sell their video experiences on line.
A lot of people go travelling for extended periods. With Vietnam offering a three month e-visa now, a lot of peple chooe to base themselves in the country for longer poeriods. Also many people work online nowadays.
Looks decent. Like to visit Da Nang, usually stay in Pratamnak area in south Pattaya for the winter, love it there. Might do a month in Da Nang this yr before heading there, thanks for the informative video. Just 1 question, is the humidity high there in August time as in Thailand?
In August the weather still hot and less humidity, the rain will start in September onwards. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1lhql1uNkh4.htmlsi=SoWUtDsKCBGzpEi4
I have visa issues with Thailand so I am back in London but I am looking at where to go. And Vietnam is on the list. I loved the abundance and quality of condos in Thailand, I hope I can find that in Da Nang. Nice to know if I get 'home sick' for Thailand I can find a nice Thai restaurant LOL. The traffic looks quiet which is nice as I want to rent a scooter to get around. Getting the big thing of water in the condo is good so you reduce plastic waste. The beach looks nice. Are there 7Elevens?
I think that the accommodation is Da Nnag is cheaper and ofa better standard than in most other countries in South East Asia. The traffic isn't as crazy in Da Nang as it is in Ho Chi Minh City. Scooter rental is cheaper here aswell. Lovely beaches. We didn't see any 7-11's. We loved our time in Da Nang and like yu said it's a perfect choice when you fancy a change from Thailand. Good prices and not too far to travel. ;-)
How come people rent if it’s so intensive in Vietnam? Wonder if you can purchase property there if one of born from Vietnam. I’m born in Vietnam but I’m a citizen of U.S.
Hello. I have only stayed in this apartment. I have no experience with any other accommodation. With the visa you can apply online for a 3 month visa now.
Too funny!! I just stumbled onto your video.. I was in the lift with you and your partner when you were checking out and flying off to Chiang Mai **just reading some of the comments: Folks complaining about the price are clueless.. you are also paying for an "outstanding" Management Team, and H Suites does not disappoint. They provide a level of customer service that puts big fancy hotel names to shame 👀
Ahh brilliant. Are you still there? I couldn't agree with you more. I think the price is very competitive, the staff are amazing and I will most definitely stay there again next year.
It's a very nice city. I can't speak from experience about the nightlife here as I've never been out to a bar or a club. I wouldn't compare it to Pattaya though, it's very different and more chilled here.
@@avittorio dont listen to @malakai9015 , he knows nothing. vietnamese people are more open about lgbt than any other Southeast asia country, just behind thailand.
Good question. Many people say it is risky. If the ice is from tap water then it could be harmful. In my experience, I haven't gotten sick from iced drinks thankfully.
Hello. I’ve tried to book at stay at the H Suites hotel and apartment on various sites-they ALL sat it’s completely booked out all the way through October, 2024. How can this be possible? Is that accurate?
@@AlwaysonaJourney thanks for fast reply, Andrew! I’m coming in March of 2024. Trying to decide whether to only book for a few nights at first or commit for a month straight away. Plan to stay in Da Nang at least 90 days…. Keep the excellent videos and positive vibes coming!
I love the standard of accommodation in Da Nnag. Many places are modern, clean and reaonably priced with good wifi. I think I'll be there again in March. Ninety days sounds great. ;-)
@@doncoder-channelThis is how I did: I rent a 50cc scooter (~100USD/Month) it can’t go fast and you can’t go fast by city’s limit speeds. If you can ride bicycle then you have no issue, just need a little practice and you will have fun with it.
@@AlwaysonaJourney trust me I will and I will never look back yeah I know I got to re-up as far as time goes and then have to come back but I will also like to thank you for you posting your videos very inspiring 🙏
Join some Da Nang groups on Facebook. I'm sure you can find current information and vacancies there. My friends lived and worked there several years ago.
All of these replies calling this, what looks like a lovely place, a “rip off,” etc frankly aren’t very helpful. Particularly when none of those critical are offering links to a single one of these supposed better options.
Thanks for the video we like that you showed the place and the neighborhood, what were the websites you mentioned dananglandlord and what was the other one. We are heading to Vietnam soon and will be staying for a few monthz.
Hi there, I watched your video in ko Samui about your villa you rented out for £620 and it looks much better value for money than this one. Can you not rent detached villas like the one you had in Ko Samui ?
Hello. The price was greatly reduced in Koh Samui as it was during the pandemic. I didn't look for somewhere of that standard in Da Nang so don't know how much something like that would cost.
This is the first RU-vid thread I’ve ever commented on and some of these questions just amaze me. I mean really? You’re asking that question here? Did you watch the video? These guys have class and are very respectful towards everyone they meet. It’s clearly not a frat boy, party party! video. Why ask the producer such a question?
Here in USA, richer people from A move to poorer places like B and buy properties. After that the prices go up because of less supply and more demand. The result of which is original people from B not being able to afford to live in B, and have to move to C. Kicked out of their own home by richer people.
@@AlwaysonaJourney Real solution to this is to limit the number of foreigners to each locality/region. Just like how out-of-state students pay a lot as compared to in-state, similarly the taxes on foreigners investing in a certain region should be so massive that it deters them from investing. In the short run it's bad for the region, but in the long run, it's better.
