I agree that about the friendliness of the Sri Lankans. I experienced that a lot when I was in Sri Lanka. I love your energy and positivity. I remember they have the best curries in Sri Lanka. Check out Hikkaduwa beach. Those dogs are sooo cute and friendly! :)

@SilkyRonTheRoad Sure. You can travel to Polonnaruwa - Minneriya to see wild elephants. If you go to Udawalawe or Pinnawala, you can also visit them. Then at central Sri Lanka is full of waterfalls. It's a diversified place abundance in everything within this little area.

@SilkyRonTheRoad Yeah. That means you are still in Sri Lanka. Yeah. These days, they are active. If you take the train from Comobo to Ella, you will never forget(maybe you already had that experience😊) There are so many waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Haputale, and Balangoda areas. But some are very dangerous in the rainy season.

Hey guys. If you are still in Negombo go to Zameeha restaurant . By the periyamulla junction. try delicious food there. Cheese kottu and sea food fried rice. You will love it.

Brilliant share, although Srilanka might be affordable(or should I say cheap) I think $5 a day is way too low, and you are left starving unless you find friendly locals who give food for free but then, you can not say you spent $5 a day because their food has to come from somewhere. Now having said that, I have really enjoyed your video and I can well see how affordable Srilanka is for a traveller on a tight budget. A brilliant video with a very useful experiment, I really appreciate the share, have fun,take care and I'm looking forward to future videos and follow your adventures as I hope to one day visit Sri Lanka

We agree! In most places, unless you really spend some time there getting to know the locals (or if they just give you the local prices) it will probably cost you more than this! But in Negombo we were very surprised to have most people telling us the local prices which honestly made it hard for us to spend the full $5… 😅 you saw how much food we had! 😂 We hope that you have a wonderful day! ✨🙏🏼✨

Shanthipura is a place you must visit before you leave Sri Lanka...it is the highest village in Sri lanka.this small village in Nuwara Eliya district is in a Very beautiful place.. you guys will be able to enjoy the beauty of the environment and the life style of the villagers here will be unique. @@SilkyRonTheRoad you can visit ancient city of Anuradhapura and polonnaruwa,in North Central , nuwara eliya known as little England cooler climate & lush tea plantation if you r adventures visit Horton plains as well, chillout vibe and you can visit Ella and the train journey , and temple of tooth in Kandy, and lions rock and pidurangala rock @sigiriya and beaches in down south and yala national park for safari and many more places to explore happy travels guys!
