Raze Duo GSP190K from Dollar Tree for $5 (part of their Dollar Tree and more selection) is usb powered (use a 2A rated power or more), mini jack input, and with an inline volume control isn't too bad for the price. I put these over the Logitech S120/Z130/Z150 in all categories but looks (gaming speakers look tacky to me). The Bugha sub/sat combo for $10 is worth the extra cost and very good for the price. I feel like it's the budget king at the moment.
