$50 bookstore challenge 📚 bookstore vlog, shopping & haul!!! 

i almost solely use libby on my kindle when it comes to reading! however, with that being said, i’m grateful to the girlies that buy books new and then donate. it’s what allows us to have used book stores and thrift books. all types of readers are needed for the book ecosystem to work 😊

This is such a neat idea! I’m surprised I haven’t seen a challenge like this before on booktube. I don’t have any thrift book stores near me besides Goodwill, but I might do this when I go to the city!

The old cover of Siege and Storm, the 2nd book in the Shadow and Bone trilogy, was right next to that copy of Shadow and Bone in the store in your video.

American Dirt is amazing! Also try Severance by Ling Ma; I read it a second time after I read it just because it was so good.

I either buy books on Amazon or on my kindle, but I do get about 60% of my books from the library and I love it. I would thrift if I could find some good places to do so but the thrift stores do not have anything where I live. Love the book content!

That shadow and bone cover is collectible. People sell those original covers for crazy prices online. Because of that they are rarely at thrift stores. Good find. :)

What a great challenge. I try to stick with library books because omg I can imagine how much I'd spend on books, even if used. But I love browsing used bookstores. I remember visiting a tiny bookshop last year that was in an old train car that had the best bookshop owner. It was filled with books to the ceiling! The owner was amazing because she had the best recommendations for what you were looking for. Oh, a fun video idea that's book-related is sharing what your top 5 book recommendations are for different topics/themes. Like your top summer romance reads or thriller books that keep you on the edge of your seat, etc. Just another idea to add to your on-going list of video ideas.

Carterrr, I JUST thrifted A Man Called Ove after watching the movie on a plane recently. It was so good so I'm excited to read the book and see if it's similar/very different. I noticed that they changed the man's name to Otto in the movie
