@@kryror6 so the engine runs great although it smokes a bit and I have to order a new exhaust because this one points towards my feet and I need to fabricate a custom metal bracket to mount the rear brakes

I bought one just like that for $50 as well. Put on some new Kawasaki 110 plastics I had laying around, fixed a couple of small things and sold it for $300 easily. It was a fun bike. I almost wrecked it when I shifted from the top of third gear down to second by mistake. The shift pattern is opposite from the Japanese bikes so that took some getting use to. Up was downshift and down was upshift.

It didn't leak any fuel when we started it, the wet spots on the ground were already there before we started it.

I bought a 90cc Yamaha dirt bike for 50 bucks. Just needed a new top end and carb. Totally worth it.. still runs great today. Oh and no rust lol

When cleaning plugs always remember to slide some high grit paper inbetween the element (inbetween the top part).

I’m notorious for buying bikes like this. Been doing it for 30+ years. Few tips-Drain the fluids in safer containers NOT used water bottles. Oil bottles, old fuel cans, metal coffee cans but anything is better than a plastic bottle that will melt. Start with the simplest things you need to replace anyway-air filter, spark plugs etc. Don’t throw money at something it might not need. Also-Screw extractor sets, tap and dies-CRITICAL for older dirt bikes because screws and bolts WILL strip, break etc.

I got a 90cc thumpstar for $200 Australian its in good condition. its old but it runs great. The guy wanted to 250 but i got him to sell it for 200. All i can say is find a bike in reasonable condition and try get the seller to drop the price

The second plug you were looking at whole you were looking at the CDI box is used if you wanted to hook up a rear brake on your handlebars

I got a 2020 pit bike for $300 in perfect condition but with a blown rim. Bought a new tube tire and rim all done and came assembled for $100. $400 for a 2020 mint pit bike not bad in my opinion. Im also in canada so shits more expensive here

I've had two or three over the years. There good fun quads. I put a few bolt on performance parts on one. It would lift the front tires about four inches when I grab second at full throttle and hang with the 300cc sport quads easily. Not bad for a 250 with shaft drive.

@@jordanormsbee3398 You can get it going cheap. No need for a battery since it has a pull start. Cleaning the carb is very easy. Just look up how to videos on that. As for the tires they'll be fine if there bald. Just throw some slime in there for now to hold air. Probably get it going for about $20 to $30.

Depends how much u enjoy fixing things up... lol because yeah... the carb caught on fire while I was riding it and from the the bike went boom boom. Most of it is actually fine... the plastics are gone, fuel tank is gone, carb is gone. The engine is still ok and tires and forks and handle bars

It’s a air leak or the carb jets can sometimes be lean and cause issue/rarely like that.

If it's a 125 cc it would be a 2 stroke Whitch you add oil into the gas to live up the pistion so it don't gouge the cilender walls which can cause engine damage and loss of back pressure

It is a 125CC 4 stroke pit bike. It has a similar engine as what you would find in a Honda minibike or my Skyteam PBR.

I also got a pit bike fore 90 dollars and all it needed was a tube and clean the carb and it started first kick but after awhile the piston gave up and it wouldn't start so I got a piston and rings and it fired right up
