Hi everyone!
I hope you enjoy this training vlog. I have been putting a lot of effort into working on my start over the last few years as it has always been the weakest part of my race. In this video I go through 6 starts trying to nail every single one to perfection. After each start I go through it with my coaching and analysis team on the camera system and then try to see where I can improve each time.

Cody also breaks down every training session he films, plus he interacts casually with his athlete mates. I'm far from professional world of swimming, but Cody's talent to film and be so natural on camera is apparent and expands his audience beyond just fan club subscribers.

It is great that you are practicing to improve your overall swim. From what I could see here, when you jump in, you are supposed to enter the hands, torso, feet in a circle; you don't - your legs drag in the entry - this way, you are much higher in the water which impedes a better flow and good dolphin kick. You should recover your arms from the first pull much closer to your body, under your chest also. By bring them forward very widely, you create a lot of drag. Those points should be your focus on starts and turns. 54'99 my friend!

It's time for the rest of us to be allowed to train now, the elites have been taken care of, but people my age (19) have been forgotten about and prevented from training, but the governing bodies still take the membership fees, because that's fair? And even from the 12th April I still can't train with my club because I'm over 18. But all kids under 18 mix at school and are allowed to train?...? I just wish things were different and change pretty soon

I am not allowed to train (and I am 15). Also I'm Not allowed to go to school. I also hope that thimgs will change soon! But you can't compare the elites to yourself! (It's their job to swim, train, and compete). Wish you the best and that you can train again soon.
