I was told Tilefish was actually better if you let it sit on ice for 24 hours before fileting it. Never tried it before as I can't catch them but if I ever catch 2... LOL

When it’s close, I measure them on my magma table because you can butt their mouth up against the side and press them against the ruler on the back to get a good measurement. It can be hard using the sticker ruler.
