Alright so here's my thoughts: Again, if you want to know my concerns before the review, I posted a community post about them. Firstly, I would appreciate no disrespect to Hoshimi. I personally have no quarell with her although I know others do, so I do not mind you guys sharing your experiences. In fact, I encourage you to share. Now, for my opinion. I did love her DIY's and I recommend them to all of you! I think that her work ethic is amazing and something I look up to. She works long hours creating and sending slime. However, I do not like the way she goes about it (explained in my community post) As for the slime experience, everything about them felt off. The textures, the scents, literally everything. The scents all seemed almost unbearably sweet. I'm not sure where she gets her scents but none of them seemed right and again, off. The textures all felt unique and most of the time it's a good thing. For me at least, not in this case. They all felt strange and left my hands feeling...icky? Pairing that with the scents I felt almost sick after the review. She's a good option for DIY's and variety for a low price, but I doubt I will buy again.

Yeah I'm convinced she uses model magic, it gives her clay slimes an almost slippery texture. I did find her clear slimes melted, but when I re activated them they were great. Her clouds are also nice.

the ramen one was a little strange to me... why did it come with Chinese- american food items ie the fortune cookie? Its a little off-putting to just go eh whatever its all asian. I sure never have gotten a fortune cookie from a ramen shop.

Okay firstly I wanted to say I've been waiting for this review and you did a really good job on explaining everything in detail! Now for my opinion on her shop: So I agree her textures are very off and don't match the descriptions of the listings. I had the mango thicky once and I honestly didn't like it either. The scent was horrible and the texture didn't seem like a thicknglossy to me. I have seen on her insta stories when she would do behind the scenes that sh uses shaving cream in a lot of her white glue bases. Im not sure why she uses it cause that just ruins the whole texture. I've also had a "snowfizz" from her and it wasn't the best. It was supposed to be an icee texture and it was just really disappointing. She's also has me blocked on my slime account because I would always go after her about her not wearing gloves
Ok so at least im not crazy about the Mango Thickie lmao. I'm sorry you had that experience, I had heard she wasn't too fond of people telling her about gloves lol
@@PJSlimes yeah and also when she would show addresses on her story too I would yell at her for it but all she would really say was "a lot of my customers don't care if I show their addresses" like okay lady
Hoshimi is one of my favourite shops. People use to call snow fizz slimes icee slimez before clear glue wet snow icee’s were a thing, basically her icee slime’s are one of her OG’s from back then. You might kind of think of it as just the name of the slime like Nichole had a “Barbies Cotton Candy Cloud” but that was just the name, really if you look at the pics you could see it was a thick & Glossy & same with Hoshimi’s icee’s you can kind of tell they are snow fizz from the picture but I can definitely see how & why it would be confusing. Just Ameerah’s also was still calling snow fizz’s icee’s just a few months ago I’ve had great experiences with Hoshimi Slimes, I found their slimes are great for beginners & they have decent shipping to Canada + a large selection & good prices. She definitely doesn’t use model magic she uses a type of polymer clay, depending on the base you use it can be very inflating! Her slimes are still way better than the average persons DIY slime. Jen has tried so many slimes so she may be pickier than the average person would be, especially on thick slimes (sorry Jen 🙈🙈💕) it might not be what Jen calls thick, but it’s also not what I call thin 😉 thin is 2017 Peachybbies 🙈😅😅 I loved the unicorn slime too it was so fun to mix!! I got a ton of cool pics! Ha that is weird tho cuz I my first order from her I could’ve sworn a couple thick & glossy’s had clay in them too?! 🤔🤷🏼♀️ & their butter snow texture is super unique I’ve never felt a snow butter like it. Not sure if it’s the clay they use or a combination the clay + shaving cream that gives that texture but unfortunately the shaving cream does cause some of them to deflate quite a bit after a while. Still really enjoy mixing their clay kits & my son who hates sticky slime likes their slimes too Omg hair that is not good.. 👀 I accidentally let me ramen slime melt but I’ll reactivate it & do the kit one day!
I reached out one time and the seller was short and didn’t respond when I told them about a few missing items. Customer service isn’t the best compared to other brands. I feel like items are often missing whether it be a care pack or charm. Especially if you purchase the DIY’s I feel like it’s often the small items are either missing or different from what’s said on the website. That being said the ideas are creative and they are one of the cheapest slime shops for decent okay slimes. most are good for beginners. My first one was chill pill the original, where the pills were already mixed in and there was not glitter. It was one of my favorites so I highly recommend for younger/ beginners audiences or those looking for slimes on the cheaper side.
Umm animal hairs in my slime are unacceptable. With that and other things on here I won't buy from them. Thank you for your honesty. There's too many good shops to pick from. Don't have to settle for garbage.
This slime shop is definitely on the cute side, and mainly for the experience. I’ve bought from them before and I say 1.5/5. And… is nobody gonna say… Woof 🐶
I’ve ordered 2 slimes from this company during a sale period. I ordered the Cherry Cola slime and the Clay Cap Honey slime. The slimes were alright however, both were missing the MAIN charms. The Cherry Cola slime was missing the Cola Charm and the Honey slime was missing the bee charms. Although it’s not a big deal, it would’ve been nice to know I wouldn’t be receiving them due to the fact that they didn’t have any in stock. I just feel like service is better if you point out things like that. 🤷🏼♀️
Although a few reviews have talked about some issues with her textures, they were very professional about the criticisms and actually work hard to improve their slimes! Hats off to CornWithSlimes 🎩 Edit: lol I withdraw my statement after seeing Shlime Review's shorts
@@Tater_Toot She did talk abt it on TikTok stating she is so sorry and is trying to make up for it. She as talking about her using a different glue that week, so maybe that has caused the issue. I don’t know!!
I never really knew about Hoshimi Slimes issues until Shlime Reviews which I got recommended today and now this probably because it mentioned Hoshimi Slimes. They have interesting slimes indeed but too bad their attitude isn't that great.
Their slimes are cool but i won't be buying from them anytime soon cuz they're just rude to some reviewers lol 😅 but once again their slimes are cool 👍👍
Can you do Famous slime shops vs underrated, I would love to see some shops I haven't bought from before, (I bought from Corn with slime, Boba boa slimes, and momo slimes), and get an opinion!
Y’all bashing her for not wearing gloves is annoying. We all know she doesn’t. It’s about preference. Hella famous slime shops didn’t wear gloves. And covid doesn’t live on slime so it’s no reason for her to wear them. If it’s a problem don’t buy. She made that clear. It’s no need to harass her. She goes thru enough already
There could also be bacterias on her hands so the slimes are dirty. And yes some famous shops doesn’t wear gloves and that’s why their sales had been going down like glitter.slimes.
I personally don't have an issue with slimers not wearing gloves. The problem lies with the fact that Hoshimi unnecessarily plays with the batches of slime she makes over and over again. She also lets her dog in the room, leaves open tubs of slime on the floor, eats/drinks in the room, etc. All of these things are super unprofessional and unsanitary. Plus, although I have never experienced it, a lot of people have told me how rude she is and some have even seen her threaten previous customers. But I do agree, bashing someone is not right. She has made her choices and it's her slime shop so however she runs it is 100% up to her 🖤
