nice. i had my truck leased on to xpo for a year doing containers. but it all depends on which route you really want to take. my best advice if you don’t want much overhead other than the maintenance on your truck is to find a company that has steady work and good rates and stick with them. but it all depends on where you want to take your career

Yeah. I’ve had my authority for about 5 years. But just leased on to a company out here. It’s ok but not to consistent. Im ready to get back on my own. I’m kinda stuck over here. Not the family man’s idea. I have a step deck now but I was doing power only Amazon before this. It wasn’t cutting it. I’ve never tried any of the load boards like DAT and whatever others there are.
yeah i use truckstop to find my loads. alot of people told me the guys doing oil field work out there making a lot of money. i was just never willing to be that far away from home for that long. i did chemicals local before i got my own authority. it’s was great money and i was home everyday
